What I don't understand is why you rate the "build quality" first before any tests wouldn't that be the last thing you rate after the testing?brAccording to testing the "build quality" was very goodbrMaybe change the term to "aesthetics/prettiness" Comment from : TekkGnostic |
|
It's almost depressing how good this knife is, it's basically untouched for daily use and you don't have to worry about keeping it looking pretty It's certainly not as pretty as my Miyabi birchwood but it still ends getting 10x the use Comment from : Vantavimeow |
|
Why waste so much stuff? Especially food and water Comment from : Andrea Austoni |

I watch all your videos and I absolutely respect you and your sublime work/art You are incredibly talented BUT, I'm not too sure about the water bottle cutting/wasting when 2 billion people around the world do not have access to clean/safe drinking water and that water in general is growing rarer and rarer Give this a thought and keep up your extraordinary work :) Comment from : Janico Tremblay |
|

Victor Inox is the same company that makes the world famous Swiss Army Kives- and they are outstanding for their quality of workmanship I didn't like the plastic handle even though it's obviously of a superior material I've had my Swiss Army knife for close on Forty years now, and although I have lost the tweezers and toothpick it is still in amazing condition considering I use it almost every day Comment from : Mickey Filmer |
|

Wish I knew which vendor my husband bought this chef's knife on ebay from It's heavy, has a fancy colorful handle, extremely sharp, some textured black carbon look to the blade, with a very thick blade Somehow it feels like the blade is going to be brittle Waiting to see how long before I have to sharpen it Been pretty spoiled by my Henkel's kitchen set Have had those for around 30 years and I pull out the big guns for sharpening once or twice a year I would love to see you test some of the nice knives, or that one from eBay I'll ask my husband if he can remember the vendor Comment from : Vicky S |

Have a couple of these as my everyday beaters, the rose wood one has a slightly thicker blade and a full tang Both are well over a decade old and still look good The Fibrox one has been put in a dish washer many times as well I do think the blade steel must of improved My ones do not hold the edge quite as well but they sharpen up a treat, so no real problem Comment from : Psibug |

As a meat cutter by trade with about 32 years experience, I have used many different knives Victorinox are by far the best I don't even mean the best "cheap" knife They are thin and lightweight They are easy to sharpen and hold an edge for decades If you know how to sharpen and use a steel, one of these "cheap" knives can last for years of industrial use and forever in a home kitchen Comment from : dmnrbnsk |

I give this knife to my cooking friends who are serious about their kitchen, but haven't invested in any quality knives I have never been let down by the "V" brand From their kitchen knives (chef, boning, paring, and simitar meat blade), to their camping knives, to even my watch I quit using my Chef Yan's Chinese vegetable knife after getting my "V" kitchen blade! Comment from : Rat Lips |

Good evening i have a question that's a bit out there and I'm trying to find a solution to my curiosity is it possible to forge a full size Damascus chellow and bow or would the pattern distort or would it even be feasible to attempt something of this difficulty and size or would the cost and logistics prove to much to overcome or would the Damascus be to thin and crack and would it even be payable if possible and would it be to heavy to move and would ut sound any good would the propites of Damascus even allow for something like this without cracking Comment from : Matt Wyeth |
