I bought five 2021 EAGLES When I put them on my Sigma verifier each coin when out of the box just to the right of the box and almost touching the box I didn't know about this security feature but each coin has the missing read just below the date Anybody have any ideas why this happened on the verifier

I think that even if they updated the missing reed, a more visual security feature is needed American eagles are beautiful but definitely need an additional security feature

Which is more likely, the missing reed adjacent to the round flat sun is a super high tech anti counterfitting technique or that is where the new RFID identifier will be attached once the US dollar collapses and we go back to a hypothecated silver (certificate) system Hello!

The 2022 missing reed is moved to above the word "OF" 7:30 location is misleading On your other video you had my hair standing up "insisting" that it is at 12/6 o'clock "only" on the new Eagles My new 2022 Eagles had the missing reed above the word "OF" or at the sun One commenter there said the reed was in the wrong place (he did not say where it was) he reported the seller and got a refund, that really got me questioning my Eagles I googled "where is the security mark on 2022 American Eagles"? It Turned out you just don't know what you're talking about in/on your other video I hope your other viewer did not make a lot of trouble for an innocent seller

The premium is a third of the spot price, which is ridiculous I wish everybody would stop buying these until the premium was normal I'll stick with Austrian Philharmonics or another with a reasonable, yet still a bit high premium

I am not impressed I like the Britannias and maples much better We can do better if they actually put at least some effort into it The design in general is not impressive and the premiums are way to high Who knows one day you might get a better buy back price for the others and the eagles will lose the sell back power that they currently have today All in all buy what you like

When they counterfeit a coin it’s going to be one particular year, the same year and they’ll make a ton of them They will know which read to file off You do realize counterfeiters watch YouTube also right? If someone can counterfeit the 2021 coin and the mint relocated the missing reed to make it harder to counterfeit the 2022, why wouldn't the counterfeiters just continue to counterfeit the 2021s? What crazy counterfeiter has to change their coins for 2022s design? Conclusion: Seems ridiculous to me that this somehow will prevent counterfeiting, and therefore I don't think it is a very strong anti-counterfeiting measure

The real security feature on that coin is that the height of the reeds goes from bigger to smaller back to bigger as it works its way around the missing reed Put it under a microscope to see it

Please look again I just got my three 2022 coins There is also a slight indention that looks out of place It's on all three my coins just above the T on the face side You don't really noticed it unless you're looking with a magnifying glass but it's there

I will never stack Eagles as they always carry to much of a premium in Korea Instead, I stack Kangaroos, Maples, Philharmonics, and Britannias because they are more common and carry less of a premium Shops buy back at spot regardless of the coins

Silver Eagles are not big in South Africa, I struggle to sell mine, not sure if it is a lack of security features or the high premiums I guess this new security feature is a bit better, but there are still room for improvement All the the counterfeiters need is a turntable at the end of the production line, re-calibrate it and walla! they back in business
