Thanks for the tour of the inside of a quiet pusher machine That sign piece you're enquiring about changing That's plastic or plexiglass as far as I can tell Comment from : Dawn Dixon |
I have a question I'm asking because I can't find a video on it anywhere If I wanted to modify my coin pusher to where I can drop a bunch of quarters at once instead of just one at a time How would I be able to modify it so I can do that? Comment from : bobbys coin pusher |
very cool such a coin pusher beautifully made
brRegarding the noise of the engine, it is better to use a windshield wiper motor from a car as far as the drive is concerned, it has a lower motor speed and the required voltage of 12V is already available through your computer power supply
brI hope my proposal is of some use to you
brthank you very much for your explanation
brRegards, Cees Kuppens, The Netherlands Comment from : Cees Kuppens |

I have played one with a fruit gambling function on it so it has extra possibylitys so when you spin 3 bags of money(coin activates te spin)you have extra chance to win like you get your money back Comment from : Daniel |

4:26 The only person to mention and show the payout mech I knew about the lip, didn't know it was what controls the payout You say you don't make money, only money from the bank, well that lip is also how these machines make money Don't want people to win as much, leave the lip in and set it higher But you have to get the sweet spot Not so high no one ever wins, but not so low everyone wins Removing it would be a bad idea Comment from : Steven Whiting |
your motor has 2 black wires how did you wire it to your power supply ? was it one black to black one to white Comment from : Edward Anderson |
It looks like a gear reduction at the top of the motor you could pack it with a lithium grease and reduce some friction noise Other options would be fit the interior of the machine with some sound deadening foam If you are using the machine for personal use maybe retrofit a power button on the front to power it on when you use it Save the motor from burning out and you wont have to get down to the power it on and off this is sick i want one Comment from : LIFE of Pleasure |
You should take that gearbox apart, clean out all the old grease and replace it with some proper molybdenum grease Hope the gears aren't too far gone to ever again be quiet :D Comment from : Chemicalvamp |
I agree, the amount of motor noise is excessive Most bar owners wouldn't have it I wouldn't I''m thinking the extra wire/ plug would be for a built in changer I would like to see how that is secured and fed Also, I would be curious what the profit to cost (average of $1500 / per new machine) payback time is for the owner Comment from : kidritalin1 |
Im building one of these I wish you would show us all how that lip is installed on the edge where the quarters fall off Comment from : OAB |
Would be great to explain how the coin checker work This simple trick looks ingenious Comment from : ytrew |
Thank you! Comment from : Larry Peteet |
Very interesting Thanks Comment from : jay bomb |
Some of what hes saying aren't really making sense, and hes not fully explaining a few things lol I thought I was just tired, and kept missing things, but I keep rewinding it and still doesnt Comment from : Shawn Nixon |
hi, first of all nice machine! very impressive how you made that on your own I only have one question, how did you ensure that the quaters or other coins didn't fell into the 'playing room' ? Comment from : Sandra De Marie |
Do you have to have any kind of permit to put one of these in a gas station Comment from : Coby D |
You gotta paint some colors in there, on those flat white bits!brbrI want a coin pusher, but it just looks so drab inside A sad halogen light, scraped up metal slides, mirror, white countertop material If i played that in my living room, I'd feel like I was in a moldy back corner of a liquor store!brbrI'd have to paint one surface yellow, another blue, maybe an orange one Get some life in there Comment from : dethmaul |
The material for the sign is Lexon, vinyl graphic's people who make signs could get the material and put vinyl graphics for custom sign Comment from : Leslie Cowan |
Living in the Netherlands I have been searching the internet for a while now to buy this machine in Europe Never found one, has anyone got an idea where to buy one in Europe? brFor now, I am builing one myself So thanks for uploading this vid! brHelps me a lot! Comment from : Atlantis |
Here is a quick temporary solution to small speakers that are too loud Just put layers of tape over the speaker It makes it way quieter and you can later remove the tape Comment from : Fusion Developer |
Pull the gearing apart, by taking the motor off, give the gears plenty off gear grease (polyurea grease), close it up and let it rip for a few hours, open again and add if any dry spots left Comment from : Henrik Madsen |
The gear reduction in the motor is what's making all the noise Gear reductions like that tend to be rather noisy Plus I don't think you'll be able to disassemble it to check the lubrication in there If you can disassemble the gear case you could possibly clean it out and repack with some good Moly grease I'd love to take a non-working one apart It's definitely engineered to a certain price point for maximum profitability Comment from : Jared Janhsen |
'Make It Rain' name sign in 321 Comment from : Jennyverse |
What would be interesting to do is 100 dollars in quarters to the see the return for the player and return to the owner see who makes more Comment from : James Fleury |
Can u just down the tilt sensor alarm time to a shorter time like less than a quarter of a second?? Comment from : Phillip Adams |
Seems a bit loud to me but who knows, maybe this is why arcades always have loud music, is it a planetary reduction gear in that box or somethingbrSurprisingly primitive inside, that looks like a super old XT PC power supply, and most of the stuff is off the shelf parts cobbled together! Comment from : T C |
After you activated the tilt alarm, I said 'that was loud' the same time as you did XD so one of us owes the other a soda lol! brReally love this video, been wanting to see inside one of these for like forever! And if I knew how to do a sign for the front I'd be all over that for you :) Comment from : melsterdoom |
it is a beautifull machine they are way to expensive for me here in the nl Comment from : juggler mansveld |
Is that lil box a mtg box ? Comment from : speetdragon |
neat Comment from : Mateo Firecracker |
Can you adjust the size of the slots on the sides, the ones for the owner????? Comment from : Phillip Adams |
this is pretty cool!! I built a coin pusher for school and am trying to add the tilt sensor functions I have everything I would need to set that up except for the solenoid Could you help me out What does the label on that blue solenoid that lifts the flap that stops coins from falling over say? It would be really cool if you could help me out I love watching your videos, especially the ones from japan keep up the good work and continue to make it rain!!! Comment from : the derpy mudkip |
I'm sure it is made of a thin printed plastic That is pretty cool machine Comment from : Christy Frick |
