This is great I've become more interested in learning for three reasons, music, travel, and work I've been getting into more and more spanish music but don't know whats being said lol If i know the song i do look up the Spanish lyrics and the English translation I went to Puerto rico in 2021 and 2022 and it made me really want to learn as well Especially because for whatever reason, people there thought i was puerto rican 😂 Also, i work in property management and as you can probably imagine, alot of the service workers are hispanic - the contractors, cleaners, the landscapers and i really like the idea of being able to communicate with them without a 3rd party human translator One of the cleaners she only speaks to me in Spanish she doesnt even try to speak English 😂 and it challenges me but its exactly what i need The more words i get familiar with the easier hearing a sentence is She's the closest thing i have for now Imma take all the free learning i can

I am very frustrated because I have a Salvadorian mother (but she was trying to better her English when I was growing up), and I seriously started studying Spanish about 4 years ago, I met and Married a Colombian almost 3 years ago, and I stay in Colombia more than the US, but I feel I'm still struggling and sound like a baby trying to communicate I feel dumb, it's so hard for me to speak I read and wrote better Everyone in Pereira has a different accent or dialect Even being emersed in Spanish everyday I can't get my past, present, future verbs in order Maybe some people are just slower😢 My husband struggles with English, I think he is very good, but he thinks he isn't

I'm Irish I live in Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽 I can speak Spanish Irish Norwegian and Danish and Italian I was brought up to speak my native languages Now you can speak Spanish that's great but your African American so can you speak your native language of Africa? I didnt study abroad But I took 5 weeks off from work last year and traveled around South America I matched with as many women on Tinder as I could and met up with 1 or 2 almost every day Talking to so many people and getting to know them really advanced my Spanish Especially when it's not possible to fall back on English But if you go to South America, just know that they don't have larger size condoms there You have to bring your own

Congratulations on learning Spanish I'm a Latina who is bilingual and can read and write in Spanish And it's easier (in my opinion) to learn a 3rd language once you're bilingual By God's grace, I have learned French, Italian and German But what I have learned from you are your tools to learn another language I'm going to use them to help me keep up with my other languages Most recently a new co worker, a Latina from Peru also speaks French, Italian, Spanish and English fluently so I get to practice Thank you for the encouraging video You're doing an excellent job! PS my husband is black and was raised in Cali and most of his friends and neighbors were Hispanic so we grew up listening to Spanish and he can understand me when I speak in Spanish Lol 😅

I have many reasons I want to learn Spanish For one my daughter is dating a Hispanic guy Love him and want to be able to speak to his family Also I am a nurse and we have a lot of Spanish speaking patients Last of all I like Hispanic foods and it would be helpful when going to a Hispanic supermarket in my area My problem is, I am southern and it’s hard for me to revert from that I speak English and I can’t get my brain to comprehend anything other than English aside from simple phrases and certain words such as Hola, Gracias and De nada

When I first started learning Spanish I tried to learn it fast Like using word that have iendo at the end That was a huge mistake I became frustrated and stop having fun I was trying to process too much information without a solid foundation I thought about when I was in kindergarten When we wrote a sentence it was basic I remember that every thing is a skill so slow down and take your time You have to build a solid foundation
