Good video however I must make a correction to what you said about the portrait of Liberty In your format you said that portrait was the same as the Statue of Liberty, however that statue was not even completed and given to the US government until 1886 The portrait on the Morgan Dollar was from an actual model that's mr Morgan hired for posing She was a school teacher and these first portraitures were done around the year 1877 so as you see they could not be the same portrait as on the Statue of Liberty FYI 😊 Comment from : JAMES Kirtley |

My grandfather passed away last week at 89 We just discovered he had a small collection of old coins and bills, some he may have gotten from his parents Among them an 1896 Morgan Dollar There’s obviously tarnish on it but it’s beautiful Comment from : Wolfenstein69 |

Got XF from apex @$21 at that time and also culls @$18 around the time you put this out The culls we're dirty grimy but cleaned them up in solution and the look almost BU Dates before 1900 but one is 1900 and most are "O" and one "S" a few are dented but see no damage to the face or reverse, any explanation? Comment from : Marcus Thoma |
|

What is your take on Morgans now? They seem very over priced to me The average cull price is over $30 Silver is about $20 an ounce so the premium on culls is about 100 Comment from : Mike McCright |
|
Bars always caught my attention over rounds but recently I've learn that government issued rounds are better I'm now researching best US minted that are not eagles (looking for cheapest option) Comment from : xXx_Yammer_xXx |
|
So, if I wanted to buy just a single coin, and didn’t care about rarity…basically, I want a strong strike, good luster, and minimal wear…what mintage will get me that coin the cheapest? I know the 1921 has enormous numbers, but I read that the die was remade, and were shallow strikes compared to all previous years Comment from : Trekkie Junk |

This is by far one of the worth investment one can do, follow closely by the half dollar Those coins are extremely common with a huge stupid premium and only salable in the US for that price In case of economy crash, nobody will pay premium on any coin and just go for spot value at best Comment from : Mambrax444 |

I tried to resist liking these because of the prices but I finally gave in due to their beauty, especially when still having luster on them They are an oddly gorgeous coin; like why do have so much allure and appeal? I'm very new to buying them does anyone have a great source for the good priced Morgan dollar that has luster still? Place that doesn't rip you off in price or bad coinbecause I have an idea but I dont really know what would be considered a good price for what I dont need slabbed, just good BU common generic date That would be awesome if someone had source recommendations! I have a question how does the price rise on key dates and cc morgans is it like every year the price goes up im not talking about the silver but the price from being rare how fast does that go up? the average morgan is about the same price as silver if silver was worthless it be like 4 to 10$ for one of them but a key date or cc is way up there so how long for a good rise in the price and would you say collecting key dates and cc coins is a better idea i mean if silver goes way up does that effect the rare price too say a cc coin costs exactly 1000 and silver goes up 40$ more would that be 1040? vs say 5 or 50 years go by and silver stays pretty much the same but the price does go up over time once upon a time they were 1 dollar i just want to know how fast does the rare price go up how long and how much? sorry i know thats kinda long Comment from : Goddess-illias |
