Eagles are like stocking the pantry with things people constantly buy and use, boring but necessary It’s why my Proctor & Gamble stock does so well Everyone has to brush their teeth and wipe their keisters That sells no matter the economic climate Comment from : Christopher McCormick |
The longer I collect gold the more I like American Eagles Aesthetically, I still prefer the Buffalo, but I like your consistent message of how easy it is to sell the Eagles But the Eagles have grown on me Love your old videos as well as the new ones! 😄 Have a good weekend! Comment from : Michael McCoy |
buffalo is my favorite the pure gold with the quality of the mint looks so good Comment from : Ryan Melvey |
Your talking about Perth mint lmao, my ass is looking at the 100 Corona dukat 🤣 Comment from : Daniyoyo |

I like Eagles and Buffalos Comment from : raymond noya |
People freak out and say American buffalo are way better 🤷🏻♂️ Comment from : ApplezToOranges |
I stack other gold coins but mostly 1 ounce Eagles brThe tax exempt option and ease of sale are the number one reason brOne of My lcd’s begs to buy them Comment from : The Cars |
I have never been turned down when I came into a shop to sell gold, it doesnt matter, if its a 24ct Maple, American Eagle, 100 Kronen Austria restrikes or generic gold barsbrGold is gold You will always get spot price minus 1-3 margin of the dealer for gold, everywhere you go in the entire worldbrIf someone wants to try buying your gold for much less than 3 under spot you are getting ripped off, but that would happen no matter what you bring him as he knows the moment the transaction is over he can sell it to the refinery for profitbrSo yes, paying hefty premiums for American Gold Eagles is not justified! Comment from : Florian Thomas |
Where is everyone getting 2k to buy these coins all the time? Comment from : Artemis Arrow |
I've only ventured into a coin shop once recently after watching your videos and it was for a sale of some random ASEs I had sitting around I asked them what kind of gold they buy most frequently and the answer was both the 1 oz AGE and 1/10 oz AGE I was really surprised to hear the 1/10 over say the 1/4 or 1/2 oz I wondered if demographics play into it---what people buy regionally---or just that particular shop dealing with what people are bringing in to that ACS (Maybe that's the same thing) From what I gather from watching your posts, I can take a 1 oz AGE to any coin shop in the US and they will probably buy it, but maybe or maybe not a 1/10 if the shop doesn't have a market for itjust curious Comment from : the English Professor |
Question ? What if the US Mint switched the AGE to 24 karat 9999 and the AGB to 22 karat ? Game changer ? Comment from : ELP2017 |
I love American gold coins and what do you think about New American eagle redesign Comment from : Awesome Silver |
Love the AGE's & Buffalo's You guys are so lucky being able to get hold of them easily without getting ripped off too much Here in UK we have limited availability and also LCE's are was rare as 'hens Teeth' !! Great Channel Keep up the good work! Comment from : Andrew Owens |
Thanks Comment from : Timothy Whittington |

folks , only buy SWISS bars " Pamp 1 Oz lady F( Veriscan technology ) , it is like buying Swiss ROLEX watchMuch lower premium, extremely easy to sell at e-bay , very easy to liquid and VERISCAN technology Comment from : ampiciline |
I’m the UK so I’m focusing on Britannias and Sovereigns - does the same as your 1oz and 1/4 oz Had to get a Buffalo though, because they’re beautiful Comment from : Matty Cottrell |
Eagles are OK, but I buy more Kangaroos, Maples and Britannias Heaven forbid if we have to leave the US, a lot of countries force you to pay to bring in anything less than 9999 gold Eagles are desirable in the US but have read they're considerably less popular than other coins globally At the end of the day gold is gold Comment from : Rusty Shackleford |
I totally again, American eagles are the easiest to sell, that’s why I prefer to stack them Comment from : DerekZane |
American Gold Eagle 4Life Comment from : CoinConductor |
The world is a big place, 2, in Canada, AGE's are taxed whereas 999 gold is not, so AGE's are not very popular The Buffalo, on the other hand, is my main bullion piece Also, thanks to my coin shop connection, there is a myriad of 99999 possibilities Comment from : MétéoMan |
Can you make a video and share your opinion and knowledge gold mining stocks? I see many people recommending buying them and I have done some research but I am interested in your opionion Comment from : Eternal Vigilance |

1/2oz AGE is a winner Good pickup Its fine with me that the the crowd like the flashy or pesos goldNOT me Wealth can be boring and still rewarding Comment from : Silver Ripples |

What is your thoughts on Platinum Comment from : Robert M |
Is it worth it to keep track of the cost basis of gold/ silver if buying on at regular intervals and only thinking of long term holding? I might go back through my receipts and track everything in an Excel Document but I'm not sure if it is worth the time I get it for short-term flips however it makes a bit less sense for long-term holding Still new to the buying of precious metals and wanted to know what the standard thought is on the matter Comment from : Michael Parker |
What entity do you purchase your bitcoin through? How do you plan on “cashing it out”, when the time comes? I’ve been mulling it over and I am able to purchase a set amount each monthbrI’m also considering a 1 ozt Buffalo or AGE every 3 months That would fit my budget and goal Comment from : UH Blackhawk |
Hi! Thanks for another very informative video And what about 20 gram gold bars vs 1 oz coins? I have noticed that the online premiums for those 2 prese tstions are very similar Comment from : luis colmenares |
Sir is it a good time now to buy gold please tell or hold for some time Comment from : Meet |
What are your thoughts on bitcoin? I would prefer a cryptocurrency backed by something like gold I don't see any legitimate reason to buy bitcoin other than playing the momentum as a trade Comment from : Dee Cee |
The 1oz American gold eagle is #1!! 👍 Comment from : Michael |
Any Gold notes? Comment from : Khen |
In uk most people just buy sovereigns Half and full sovereigns It was popular to mount a sovereign on a gold chain as a necklace or a bracelet The sovereign most common would be 1/4 ounce of gold I honestly have never seen gold eagles or the buffalo gold coins I’ve spent the last 50 plus years on and off looking at coins on my travels Gold is normally out of the reach of most people I recall Dubai airport though had a collection of gold coins and bars that previously I’d never seen before brSilver commemorative coins from royal mint are more common in uk 🇬🇧I have seen a few South African krugerrands but always small like the 10 ounce brI enjoy your presentation on the gold coins I love the look of those buffalo gold coins In uk I honestly think it would always be easier to buy sell trade 1/4 ounce coins rather than the larger ones you have That’s only my uneducated humble opinion Great videos Keep up the good work Thanks Greetings from Northern Ireland 👍 Comment from : Foster mcadam |
Nice Brittania looks good Comment from : THE_BILLYGOAT 2008 |
You know what the world needsbrbrAnd could make for a good short video clarity on the difference between 22karat and 24 karat People don’t fully understand the purity differences Both arent 1oz of pure gold, one is diluted Comment from : magiceddie88 |
You just can’t beat the AGE Comment from : Pistol Packing Pilot |
So a gold libertad with low mintage is bad? Comment from : John Morgan |
Would you ever do a video where you take us along to a LCS??? Comment from : ajswital |
All American for me! I do have a couple foreign gold coins But I’ll stick to mostly American gold The French rooster and the British sovereigns seem a lot harder to sell when compared to the American gold eagle or even maple leafs Comment from : JPlifts |
Eagles all day! At the end of the day collect/stack what you like I have been collecting currency seance I was a kid and now that I have one of my own I got back into gold Something to pass down That being said I have always loved walkers And just found a 2016 1/2 Oz gold one To start off my 2021 Comment from : Bonnie8Clyde |
Your arguments seem indifferent to the Gold Eagle vs the Buffalo But the titles to your videos are quite pro-Eagle when it comes to the two! I assume it’s just that it’s catchier to advocate for the Eagle than the Eagle or Buffalo Still throws me every time though, feel like I’m missing something!brbrI just don’t like the look of the Eagle myself (primarily the color) Buffalo for me, when I can find one! Oddly, I’m finding more Maples than either Eagles or Buffalos out here in Oregon Comment from : MacGyver7640 |
I am still developing my 2021 plan Gold is on the top of the list My crypto of choice is litecoin I will top off the budget menu with BDCs and REITs Well, we will see Comment from : Cache Katz |
I just picked up my first full ounce today! Gold maple (no buffalos available at local coin shops, nor any eagles) Tragically, it’s a 2007, so not beautiful radial lines Must have been the adrenaline because I didn’t notice the small dent on the back — look like it was dropped Rough! Was anxious to buy as I’m heading back to Washington DC on Tuesday That 6 billion sales tax is rough!brbrQuestion: the local coin shops I called have been sold out of gold for days (found the maple at a new shop a bit further away) Often they tell me they got one in but sold it within the hour, and that everyone’s buying If they’re consistently selling quickly, why don’t they mark up premium a bit? I’m an economist by trade so my recent foray into gold markets has been puzzling and fascinating! Comment from : MacGyver7640 |
You are a smart guy I really like your channel 2is1 You make sense Thank you Comment from : Lucy Stacks |
Just ordered my first 2 1/4 AGE Thanks! Comment from : Eric S |

Eagles are great ,but that 2021 Britannia looks great also Plan on one each 1 oz of the following - Eagle/Buffalo/Maple/Britannia Fractional will be Eagles and Maples Lot of talk about new gold highs, what if these are actually new gold lows Comment from : D S |
I just got back from hitting a few shops and nobody wants to sell or has any stackable gold ( I saw a few ms70 eagles) not in my wheelhouse Comment from : Don Doles |
Here you go! Mr 1/2 oz lol ! 2021 might be good for me on 1/4 and 1/2 due to uncertainty situation Comment from : ACE * |
Need to get back into gold eagles! All around solid coin in my opinion! Comment from : The Platinum Beast |
In 🇺🇸 so I looked around and chose American Gold Eagles because fractional choices and simplest choice Pre-33 seemed to add a layer of complexity with numismatic angle If I was in Canada, I’d probably be doing Maple Leafs Comment from : Silver Heist |
A very informative video I like the comparison of different types of gold coins In the past I had found myself looking, with the intention of buying a 1/4AGE and would get side tracked to the lesser priced 23 oz Brit sovereigns lawd, I had to pull myself to get back on track, Comment from : Eli |
Thanks for all the great videos I have a lot of cash saved up and thought if spot dropped to around $1800 I would buy around $20000 on various gold coins The new 1/2 ounce GAE you just bought can I ask if you bought it from an online dealer? If so do you just look for the best price? Thanks and keep the videos coming! Comment from : Doug F |
I like the camps but was wondering if you subdivide even further, like eagles being your base, buffalo's being your quick 24k liquid options and francs for long term/burnable Comment from : CasevacDevilDoc |
Would you consider making a more in-depth video about Bitcoin? I am doing research, but I want to hear it from you lol It would be awesome to hear a 101/where to even begin type video You mentioned your $250/mo for Bitcoin and it got me thinking Also - a couple months ago I noticed that you can buy gold cheaper on Apmex with Bitcoin, and weirdly, that's what got me considering buying it originally Regardless, great video as always - Missy Comment from : Missy Gordon |

Theory11 decks and gold a match made in heaven Comment from : Brock Meadows |

Another great video, I have been wondering how to integrate paying with or accepting Gold/Platinum/Silver into my investment and/or business transactions You mention a "Property Deal" Could you briefly explain or even do a video on potential ways to go about that? I own my own business and it is a Service/Installation based Security Company I have a client that deals in PMs and we have made mutually beneficial arrangements in the past but I would love to scale that up along with Cryptos (via PayPal, Square, or even a wallet app) Thanks again, Joe Comment from : Joethebassplayer |
I do prefer buffalos but eagles are very liquid like you say and a great buy I've stopped stacking at the moment so I can give my crypto account my full attention My end strategy is to increase my stack at the end of the year through Bitcoin ethereum ect great content again Comment from : Chris Summerfield |
I'm long term But i will only buy 1/10 or 1/4 Eagles for a while Comment from : Robert Miller |
A few eagles, buffalos, and maybe a John Wick or Dragon coin from time to time I like buying them both but try to stay focused on the bullion aspect of buying and not so much of the emotional aspect LOL I will definitely get tripped up with that if I don’t have a plan in place Looking forward to my 1/2 oz AGE as well brotha! Comment from : Ticktology |
I honestly thing the AE is beautiful! Comment from : Beez Neez |
I actually have a preference for a harder texture, because of possible damage, so I would rather have an American Gold Eagle or a Krugerrand than one of those 24 karat coins I'm more concerned about potential counterfeit, so I'd probably go for the new American Gold Eagle Comment from : maxsiem77 |
Do you buy mining stocks? They’re a leveraged buy that are outperforming the underlying asset Comment from : I N T E N T I O N A L F R U I T I O N |
Maples are definitely first choice up here But I find most 24k coins sell equally well The 22k coins don’t sell as well for us including your eagles I do make exceptions thou for Sovereigns and Ducats Sovereigns are so well known around the world Usually no issues with those and ducats at 23k seem to have a niche as well Just my 2 cents Comment from : Maple leaf metals |
Nice drop today in the spot price and I just picked up a gold Mapleleaf at $1838+45 premium 👍 Comment from : Golden Slumber |
What happen to the 1/4 oz AGE? Isit due to availability? Comment from : Claro Cal |
Gold at $1839 at the moment This is why I'm not buying Few days ago it was $1940 and now down a $100 in a blink of an eye People buying in high to watch it drop by $100 in 3 or 4 days Comment from : Think For Yourself |

Cause I am new to gold and silver stacking; I am purchasing eagle or Buffalo coins Just in case need to sell Comment from : KS S |
HI, 2 AS A NON-CIRCULATING COIN, THERE IS NO REASON FOR A HARDENING ALLOY IN BULLION COINS THE WORLD STANDARD IS 24K THE 90 GOLD EAGLE IS THE ODDBALL I LIKE THE BUFFALO BETTER FOR THE DESIGN, BUT THE PURITY IS ALSO A PLUS I LIKE MAPLE LEAVES, LIBERTADS, AND PESOS FOR FRACTIONALS GOLD DEALERS IN NEW MEXICO KNOW THE PESOS WELL AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH BUYING THEM MY PREFERENCE IS FOR 24K LIBERTADS BUT THEY ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE I LIKE THE OLDER PESOS FOR FRACTIONALS bTYU/b Comment from : Donald in New Mexico |
