I am watching this because the stupid TEFL course I am taking does not cover, at all, how in the heck I am supposed to communicate with beginners! Even if they are not beginners, the stupid course has me asking them something like, "What did you do this weekend?" after telling them all about what I did this weekend, in-order to teach them some aspect of verb tense 😣Well if they understand my original question and story, they probably already know whatever simple concept I am supposed to teach In other words, thank-you for this video! hello chris, i hope you're in good health i'm a novice english teacher in Morocco, and i teach 3 classes of complete beginners, and i really don't like to bombard them with a lot of vocabulary, i have also been thinking of implementing more interactive activities where they practise the basics of English but the problem is that we teachers have to follow a certain curriculum and have to prepare Ss for the national exam so that they can graduate what do you think i should do?
