When I was younger, I thought Korea had nothing to offer It was developed so fast after the war so they lack historical places But I see it differently now You can walk around fucking everywhere anytime without running into bums, crackheads, homeless, weird people, scary people, thugs, potential robber etc That alone is worth $$$$$$ for tourists Here in LA, I see Europeans walking around cluelessly by the homeless, drug addicts and pile of trash It makes me to think 'these people paid $$$$$ to be here to watch this shit? I wonder what they are thinking right now???????'

For anyone wondering about pronunciation: hotteok is hard but imagine you're saying "hot duck" and soften the sounds a little Gyeongbokgung is Gyeongbok Palace (gung means Palace) and should be said like gyung bok (the O is somewhere between an O and a U sound) and gung is goong Makeoli is mah koh lee I hope this helps :)

We travel similarly Ok but also I got so tense when Josh ran through those fountains That's where Hays had a tumble that sent him to the ER on Chuseok (a national holiday) 😅 I miss this city so much!
