Fix the audio, too low Comment from : KINGNFAK |

FYI the battery has a 120-day warranty only (at least here in New Zealand) and at $89 a replacement is not cheap either This fact aside the V1 is a good flash I have used it and I like the even spread of light which is far superior to my much loved TT685 FYI only one other minor gripe is the fact that it is rather bit top heavy which becomes rather noticeable when mounted on a mirrorless body Comment from : Prabhakar Rao |
Terrible sound and review Who cares that you bought 5 flashes outright 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Comment from : Gareth Llewellyn |

Super nice video but fell or the chair and walked to the otolaryngologist after that explosion Comment from : BoxHunters |

I like your video, but Westcott lights are better, but more expensive Comment from : Janusz Skorski |
Hi, nice video, was surprised you had to combine 2 AD200s for your product shoot! Just wondering what kind of workflow required you to have so much wattage since the shots showed you were working with still objects at close range Comment from : naushikaa01 |
Since these are educational/informational videos, you might want to mention at the beginning that Flashpoint (that you portray) is the Adorama re-branded Godox (that you speak of) People that don't already know this might find your video confusing (along with repeatedly referring to it as the "Canon V1) Also, I would say that the main strength of Godox is not necessarily the innovation, but the innovation for the price You can get plenty of round-head flash innovation from a brand like Profoto - at 4 times the cost Comment from : tmsmqwx |
I love the V1S, I have three of them and have used them for a couple years now with great satisfaction
brHOWEVER: Two have broken, one the flimsy hotshoe (easily replaceable, 4 screws and a $20 part)
brThe other stopped firing entirely, suspected a faulty trigger coil It is not a user replaceable part Apparently MANY folks have suffered this issue
brI tried replacing the flash tube just to be sure it wasn't that no good
br
brI'll still buy another one to replace it, but just be aware, these things do have some weaknesses
brProbably good to buy a backup to have on hand in case one goes out on you during a shoot Comment from : Petrol Prophecy Entertainment |

Sound effects too loud voice too quiet Comment from : trekt |

Are we not passed the point yet still?? I don’t think YouTubers need to reiterate the whole concept of hitting like, hitting alarms, and smashing the subscribe button as original as that is… leaving comments even Just shoot your vid and be done We know how to do this YouTube is like 15 years mainstream now Comment from : A Christianson |
I just found your channel and noticed your V1 is the one sold by Adorama under their in-house brand name I have the Godox branded version and I bought the Accessory kit you referred to as well I highly recommend the accessory kit because for the small amount of extra $, one gets a really well thought-out and configured kit brbrI also have the Godox V860II and several of the Godox triggers that allow me to utilize non-Godox flashes with my Nikon flashes in a mult-light set-upbrbrGreat review and I just subscribed Comment from : Paul Connors |
Do they over heat? Comment from : Luis-Antonio Gomez |

Thanks Comment from : Renee Easterling |

I own (2) AD400 Pro's, (1) AD100 Pro, (2) TT685's, (1) TT600 and last, but not least, (1) AD200 Pro I would like to start doing events, so my question is this: with the AD200 Pro, I also own the H200R Round Flash Head and the Godox EC200 Extension cable Is that a good idea to take on events or is it a bit too wonky-lol? My reasoning is that by never having done events, I don't know how much power I would need in certain situations, like low light Also, by having the extension cable it would lighten the load of carrying the camera and give me the flexibility of a flash head to bounce flash Would you recommend a V1 over the AD200 kit? I would like a V1, but just wondering if it's necessary in my case Thanks in advance and for posting your videos! Comment from : Darryl Caldwell |

This information is useful, but I spent so much time listening to you either ramble or fill the air with filler comments I’m not saying this is insult you, I’m saying this in hopes that it will help I think if you condense your videos into a more streamlined experience, people would be more likely to click - and stay for the video Your lighting and audio look incredible, by the way Comment from : Jonathan Ellis |

Hi great video Now do I need to buy a xpro trigger with the V1 to trigger the ad200 pro or is the V1 an adequate trigger? Thanks so much Comment from : psysword |

I just set up my Godox V1 and Magmod on my Nikon D750 and my camera will NOT focus I have my first wedding this weekend, so I’m freaking out Please help 😩 Comment from : John Boy |
So with the V1, if that’s on top of my camera, can I shoot with that and the ad600 at the same time? Like will the v1 trigger the ad600? I just ordered a beauty dish for my Neewer 4 but I’m thinking gif upgrading that to the godox has one but I also need an on camera flash for tighter/faster situations but would love to use both if possible Comment from : EV Films |
Best? Compared to? I get the clickbait titles but it’s false Maybe the best budget flash would be a good title For someone who shoots Sony (a1, a7rii, a7) for digital and Leica (for 35mm)and Rollieflex for medium format I have purchased Godox and actually have the V1s as well as 3 other models They’re nice inexpensive and fairly reliable lights However, the Sony HVL F60RM2 is the best speedlight I’ve used I like Profoto gear but even they can’t out perform Sony’s latest lights When you add the fact that you can control everything about the light from your Camera’s menu is now a game changer I get the price factor will drive some away but the performance is without a doubt the best I have ever used Comment from : Hit the Streets Photo |
Sounds like a piece junk for Sony owners Comment from : Martin Boling |
Great video!!!!! 🤙🏻 Comment from : Franco Louw |

Sir i am a beginner wedding photographerI need a budget friendly flash, which one should i pick? Comment from : who are you? |
Unless its the sony version and in that case it will only break The hot shoe is not strong enough to carry its own weight and it will just snap off I have to have the backup spare part on me at all times if im going to use it on camera Its just ridiculous that they would design it so terribly for sony Comment from : Jeremy Smith |
Godox is a no compre to Profoto - it is of course no secret that Profoto are suing them for pending patent infringements - having seen the GOdox system up close I can count 5 systems which are better - however hands down Godox offer the best value for money Comment from : Nelson Club |
Convinced, bought V1s, and fit tested it and broke right at the hot shoe mount Didn't even get to use it for work This is a known issue of Godox V1s and replacements will still do the same thing Comment from : Nic Kun |
Great vid man I’m looking to get my first flash I’m a street photographer using the R5 What would you suggest as a good compact flash for street on the R5? Thanks Comment from : ilia djondric |
You talk to low my guy Comment from : JaKobé Ocho |

v1 is a great FLASH but at least on sony, the hotshoe is the most fragile piece of shit ever Knock a camera past a door, "CraCK" broken mount Sit on a sofa and get up and flash rugs on handrest "CrACk" broken hotshoe mount i broken 4 in 1 year, having had many other flashes before for 10 years and not having broken a single one before ( including other godox's ) Comment from : Bruno Lazaro |

I appreciate your content, thanks so much Can you suggest where I can look for an in-depth tutorial for newbies like me to learn how to use (set up), etc the V1C? Or perhaps you can do a full tutorial I've always shot natural light and am attempting to learn off camera flash I just bought the V1C and the attachment kit I have to be honest, I am intimidated with all the buttons, and features, but ready to learn the basics Comment from : Lisa Williams |
