Taking care of someone who really needs constant care is not easy I know how he feels when he said nobody came to help I took care of my mama with alzheimers it is the most heartbreaking life stealing disease in the world I'm glad I got to take care of her But at the same time you would ABSOLUTELY welcome any help from family even a hour to help out Because it's not just the physical part that is hard it's the emotional , like some day's she would call me mama The diaper changing and the physical is more easier than watching your best friend my precious mom slowly be losing everything she once knew And the absolute saddest part is not having 1 person offer to help even just a little So when judge judy says " did your mom take care of you when you were little " it gets a little different when they have some really tough roads ahead with no help

I'm guessing he came into some money his sister was not aware of and I'm sure he has justified in keeping it because he was his mom's caretaker, which is reasonable He has probably agreed to pay for half the funeral cost because he's still ahead financially

Funeral insurance is a big plus for those who are left with the final expenses My husband and I decided to have that in place and when he died unexpectedly this spring, it was one less thing to worry about I wonder if she surrender it because of financial hardship

We tried to avoid all this family drama in advance of our mother’s death by telling our sister (the primary caretaker) that she could have all of Mom’s estate without challenge She was still furious with that arrangement brbrWomen are very greedy in financial matters I dated a girl once who had three roommates When they would buy eggs, they wrote their names on the eggs so no one could take more than three They also kept an index card in the bathroom, where they would make a “tick mark” by their name whenever they would buy toilet paper Crazy stuff
