due to my inability of dealing with my feelings at the time and my lack of experience in communication in relationships, i've said hurtful things to my ex-partner and she broke up with me i really regret deeply, i wish i could go back to the past and just take time to reassess my own issues and be a more healthy person, but i can't change my past i don't know what to expect from the future anymore, i don't want to live forever remembering how much of an asshole i was but at least i'm here thank you for this video

I betrayed and hurt my ex fiance 20 years ago very badly She loved me unconditionally and I cheated on her because I was young and stupid and was suddenly getting a lot of attention from women at the job I had at the time I gave in to that temptation Do I try to reach out and apologize? How do you apologize for throwing someone's life into upheaval like that?

What do you do when you hurt someone, did something you can’t take back, can’t restore, and the person said they forgave me… but now decades later they hit you with it all over, and over again?brbrBefore, it took years, but I did forgive myself But now I’m back at square one, hating myself, can’t find any way to forgive myself I am a Christian, and I have prayed over it I know God does things in His time, but this time it feels different, like things will not get better 😢🙏🩷 I continue to pray and try to believe it will get better for both of us But I just don’t know now I don’t have the strength I had before

Boy I surely needed this today! I totally screwed up in my family sharing private info w a significant outsider Said outsider shared w my family member and now I’m banned We are already estranged …mom w my daughter I can see how valid it is to forgive myself as she probably won’t based on her past behavior Worse yet the other siblings are angry w me too I’m taking all of your advice to heart At least I need to walk in the reality of FORGIVEN! Thank you for this great video, I deal with the guilt every day I’ve done somethings in my life that I’m not proud of and I’ve heard people on the way which at the time I didn’t think it was that bad, but has the years gone by I realize I hurt some people I am trying so hard to forgive myself, and not live with that guilt and I feel like I fail all the time I am praying that I can forgive myself and that my children forgive me especially one of my daughters that I feel that resents me I try to make it up but maybe it’s not the way she wants me to and I don’t know how to move forward and I’m praying that God helps me🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It's powerful to read some of the comments and the overall humanity of everyone posting I recently hurt my now ex, it took me doing that to realize how selfish and self-centered I was I'm heartbroken writing this, I'm more so I pain that I hurt her I hope maybe one day we can speak again, but I want to learn how to be better in the future
