I have a problem, if anyone can, plz help mebrFor me it's took too much time to complete a chapter If I read 2/3 books for one subject it takes more time I can't complete my syllabus before exam I try to solve the maths quickly but I can't do that It always took a long time to complete all the problems and example of the chapter What can I do to complete chapter quickly and finish the whole syllabus before exam? 😢

Thanks for this! I'm in my first year of being homeschooled, and math has always scared me, but you don't really make it seem that scary and I guess that's some motivation, to see how it can be so fun for some poeple I did like math some time ago, but being judged and forced to move on fast before I understood everything ruined it for me Hope I can get back to understanding math enough to pass my matura exam well

If you want to really understand something try making a machine that does that function brExample: All numbers are composed of a sum a carrybrIn the early days of computers there was a thing call a half adder It only calculated the sumbrA full adder would calculate the sum and carry Say you had two electrical resistors which produced a voltage (sum)brAny over that voltage produced the carry(signal)

Im in my 30s and was rubbish at mental math I didnt even manage to learn my times tables when i was 10 and still dont know all of them now I always thought math was useless and what the point of learning it was Anyhow I watched a movie the other day and in it he said math is logic and that it helps you solve everyday problems unrelated to math It opens neural networks etc Anyway now im feeling like i missed out and want to learn everything I might just start doing exam papers from the age of 7 onwards and see how i get on and learn from the most basic of levels Also im in the UK, we never had a subject called calculus What is it?

I still have the books we used at university for electronics engineering BsC in Amsterdam, some 20 years ago Now (at 50) I want to do some remedial, including math, and specifically Signals and Systems, like Laplace, Fourier and Z-transformation But also Calculus I find these books very very dry I would need books for self-study that are maximal intuitive I am electronics engineer for the past 20+ years, and have a good sense for intuition Also I would like to understand what am I reading To memorize bunch of rules and tricks could very much help me solve some equations (and pass some tests) but that would not help me understand the essence (the why) So if you could recommend some books thet are intuitive and with more clear text with explanations I would appreciate that Thanks in advance

No one had the magical answer on how to learn anything I say, if you are struggling, like me, pray 🙏 on it, and if GOD wants to absorb the material than you will, but if you still can’t figure it out, than it’s time to have a heart to heart with yourselves, and either move on and try a different vocation that has less math requirements or maybe step away for a while and pick it back up at a later time when you feel more confident Not everyone succeeds at everything in life

This is a bit of an artistic reasoning for why you should use a pen Artist and designers will use pen over pencil as to draw with intent and spend less time allowing yourself to make mistakes opting to think through what you’re putting on the page before committing to it with pen At first you’ll make more mistakes but as you use it longer you’ll get better at it

I watched this video in December of 2022 I had never made it past pre-algebra in highschool and was terrified of the subject Fast forward to September 2023, and I’m currently pursuing an associates degree in mathematics I do math every single day and I’m absolutely in love with the subject It’s become an escape for me After a long day, sitting down and doing some algebra has become my preferred method of decompression Thank you for inspiring me

It can be very helpful if you have more than one textbook Sometimes what is confusing in one book will be explained better in another book I have a mini library of math books that I bought for very little money at thrift stores and used book sales This was a tip given by my calculus instructor who himself was a Cal-Tech grad
