Very nice coins Just a small correction on the Hawaiian half : the Hawaiian coinage minted by the San Francisco mint in 1883 and 1884 all with the 1883 dies And most of the coinage redeemed when Hawaii becomes a territory prior to becoming our 50th state Thanks for sharing Beautiful coins

On buying old gold vs modern bullion, you can get much better deals during eBay's "Bucks" promotions, as the promotion often doesn't apply to items in the "Bullion" category but does apply to all other coinage categories like Pre-33

Hey MrMonkeySwag You do have good taste on the pre1933 gold The coin has very good luster and eye appeal I am certain you had picked it up at very good price per your stated spot price at $1200 I do like pre1933 gold and prefer $10 Indian I do have a common date 1904 $20 Liberty Head as I had shown in the past I have no knowledge about that Hawaii coin and did not even know that it was an independent nation once Thanks for sharing your knowledge and congrats on your new collections

Brother I love that 1883 king Kalakaua half dollar I have the 2018 restrike that is awesome and has went up in value since I got it when it was first released Also I just ordered 2 of the Carver / Washington 1951- 1954 commemorative half dollars from Bullion exchange ebay supposed to be near uncirculated for 21 dollars each I know you have a bunch of them commemorative half dollars do you think that was a good price on them I didn't have one of them so I had to grab two of them

Pre 33 gold is my favorite way of accumulating gold Can’t say I got great deals on some of those coins but with the increase in gold more than made up for the prices I paid Don’t have that Hawaiian half dollar but I love my Hawaiian classic commemorative

Those are some great pickups I never knew the US Mint produced those coins for Hawaii for only one year I'm surprised they weren't melted down even before Hawaii became a state because it was a territory for quite a while before statehood

Sweet coins I would think by know bullion and LCS dealers would refer to the common date pre-33 as junk gold If they call pre-64 coins as junk silver, it makes since The Hawaii coins are so fascinating seeing as Hawaii didn’t become a state until the year 1950 For me, I would call those Hawaii coins American world coins Cool finds
