My Vizio E550I-B2 only has issues when turning the TV on/off I get 3 different problems when I turn the TV on, but not at the same time 1) sound only, no picture, 2) vertical bars in a small box over the Vizio logo and no picture or audio, 3) vertical bars on left 1/4 of screen and no picture or audio If I unplug the set about 5 times the problem will often change with each power cycle and finally it will come on normally The problem when turning off is that I have to repeatedly press the off button on the remote, or various remotes, and sometimes the power button on the TV when none of the remotes are successful Comment from : Elmer Whitten |

Hmm In a troubleshooting video by a different youtuber the guy says the bridge rectifier should read about 09v across the two dc leads (1 and 4), and in the 04v to 05v range when reading lead 1 to 2 or lead 1 to lead 3 Soto him, the rectifier you tested would be exactly as it should benot questionable Soeither he is wrong or you are wrong Guess I need to look for another 3 troubleshooting videos to get a better consensus on how to troubleshoot a bridge rectifier Thanksmaybe Comment from : denver likeawow |

I didn't get the last part on the capacitor, in crcuit I know you cannot read them, but you took it out of circuit and it was 1000 when it was rated 4700, your screentext said 1000 is good but 10-15 below rating is bad - both of these statements cannot be correct and you did not say whether you thought it was good or bad How can you test a capacitor out of circuit?
