Having the handle and the top opening be the same color and the top portion being where handles are on most similar devices is going to lead a lot of people making that same mistake of trying to close it using a hot surface There really needs to be something covering it, even if it's just a silicon sleeve that can be removed for easy cleaning

Great review yet again! From my experience with an "old school" waffle maker it is definitely less messy and probably easier to clean That in itself makes the added cost worth every penny Adding spices to dry to make gingerbread waffles is a must try Marc
