I believe in the spending correct But get rid of all your cash is not to buy a car or nice clothes or go out and eat Take the money out of the banks hands and invest it Leverage a multifamily home Put into stocks Put into short CDs If you have 100k in stocks and you need emergency money you can liquidate the stocks and use the money

When you overhear really wealthy people say: “get rid of your cash” you must not misunderstand what they are saying That phrase is for people who have businesses that receive some income in physical cash which a portion ( perhaps a across the board figure 10) is deliberately not accounted for as income in their accounting and tax returns THAT cash is spent on reasonable lifestyle ( non tax deductible) costs such as paying for dentists, clothes, resturant’s, holidays, schools, personal cars, jewellery, watches etc brPutting declared cash to work( earn interest, dividends, capital gain etc) is essential, but as Ed said, keep a cash float safety net in the bank and hard currency 👍
