That'll will buy half of very small college textbook, if you're lucky, but every bit helpsbrStrip the insulation off of copper wire You can get much more $$ for the bare wire There are inexpensive wire strippers that will do the jobbrSmelting aluminum cans and other aluminum, from what I've seen, increases their value by six times or more You can make your own foundry, if you want to spend the time and risk melting the aluminum down

That's great for teaching kids and getting them some money, but you can't tell me $16 was worth the time, effort and expense of doing that Don't get me wrong, I think we should recycle everything we consume, but we need to apply some incentives to make it worthwhile One option is making garbage way more expensive to dispose of Another would be a tax or deposit on such items, which you get back by recycling it, like beer bottles If it cost more to not recycle, more people would be incline to do it

Hey Tom, great video! What is the best way to get rid of candy wrappers? Put in into the trash? My recycling company says they are not recycled I throw away about 20 wrappers per day
