Hi! I was just wondering I live in europe and when you freelance you have to add a 21 tax on what you are earning and give 40 "earners tax" I see a lot of people having very low art commission prices How do people even survive working so many hours on a piece? I can not afford my individual pieces, no matter the size to be under 300 dollars I do not want to be doing a million other things besides making art, because it keeps me away from my inspiration and creative prosses Also because of the pressure I havn`t made anything in a while It all just feels like we make free entertainment that no one wants to pay for and in my opinion that is just not worth my time

Thank you so much for this extremely helpful and motivating video!! brI'm not getting as much support from my family as I hoped and some of my family members flat out told me I'll end up broke if I go this route brBut drawing is my passion and it's the one thing I've been able to stay disciplined with the past 5 or so years Even when my depressive episodes were making me struggle in every other aspect on my life Maybe I had to take month long breaks from drawing at some points, but I always got back into it This has to mean something, right?

Drawing is the only thing I can sort of do and every time I look up customer service job ads out of insecurity towards my artistic skills, I feel like I'm wasting away my talent but at the same time I'm so insecure and anxious about the possibility of making a living with my own art, especially when I see people half my age drawing like gods, it destroys my self esteem and makes me think "why do I even try, I'm not needed"

I don't even know where what I do fits in, I just do photo manipulation stuff and making stuff with photobashing Nothing like Imad Awan because I don't know how to draw so I'm learning how to draw so I can be able to do that(Iwan's style concept art) as that seems to be what is able to get money It definitely takes time, I wish I never quit photoshop in school days for programming but I learnt a lot so I guess can't complain?
