The easiest way me and grandma have saved at the grocery store was through fish and cheap random veggies We always find good deals on fish at local international grocery stores They have a ton of options for $3 a lb or less My grandma got fish for $099 a lb before They can even clean it and take out the bones for free if you want to There’s always cheap random veggies we can find and they don’t even taste bad Carrots aren’t random but we can get them for cheap For meat, gizzards is really cheap but many people don’t want it Lidl and aldi help many people like me save in my area
