I do not agree at all Money is never the issue It's the character of the person When you hold a knife you can slice bread in pieces and share or kill somebody Has that to do with the knife or the person holding it? Money magnifies who you are If you we're greedy it becomes more visible when you are rich I know plenty of people who are not rich but have ugly characters and don't give a damnstop the separation nonsense Us against themthat is the problem Comment from : The Coloryst |

Capitalism is bad! I know this because I was able to buy this computer and comment on this video on this website All because of capitalism! Comment from : Michael Goldberg |

As a person in my 30's I've seen friends start to make a lot of money and they definitely become less compassionate Like really nice, caring people! They just start to feel entitled and it makes them feel like they deserve everything and if "those people" did more, they wouldn't be in their bad situationsbrThey also end up in corporate worlds where they're surrounded by people with those same values Comment from : Tanavids |
Overly simplified, but in general not completely wrong Though id disagree that just reminding people of certain moral principles wont, long term, do very much overall Comment from : vidfreak56 |
Thanks for the insight I shall start the new year in empathizing those who less unfortunate than mebrThough I am not filthy rich, I am well-off, and yeah, at times I do not think about those who are 'lesser' than mebrbrAgain, thanks for the insight! Comment from : quaqmireful |

From my personal experience, some rich people are asshole and some are nice people I don't think money changes people, it just only reveal if they were true to themselves The different between real life and monopoly is that one have the choice to continue to participate the Capitalist game when they are wealthy enough to have financial security, whereas in monopoly your purpose is to kill off the players whether you are satisfy or not with the wealth Comment from : RayWalls76 |
Damn this is kind of sad, because I know I'd be that rich dick in monopoly Comment from : Bianca |

people who rich doesn't mean their greedy and besides greed was an evolution advantage the reason why people are greedy is not because they do not want to share, is because they have hard time trusting the people they don't know, but more like to share people they know Comment from : Angel Perez |
so this a Socialist/Communist propaganda? Comment from : Angel Perez |

Monopoly was initially designed to show the dangers of capitalism and it was snapped up as a capatalist product The 'Monopoly' side of it where you are in competition for personal success was more popular than the team based version where everyone worked to share money and ensure the maximum maintenance is performed on the properties brbrMonopoly was never meant to be a game, it was called the Landlords game and it was meant to be a simple example of how a monopoly will cripple the market for everyone But a monopoly turned it into a game and the message was forgotten ^^ The Landlords game is over 100 years old now ^^ Comment from : Alessio Yautja |
I think the concept of this video is great but there are to types of wealthy people, toughs born into wealth which have the better start are "rich player in this game" and toughs how start poor and make there wealth true shear determination brIf you work for it you see the lave of it, while if you inherit it you only see what you can get with itbrMoney does not make you mean, your reaction to it does Comment from : Sacker1939 |
We need to get rid of the market/money system Damn near every problem we have from the societal level to the species level is rooted in money and markets either directly or by proxy How do we do that? Well, certainly not by assuming the only way to do things is with the imaginary money/market system Start thinking about it How would we eliminate this system? Comment from : Steve Bottrell |

oh that's why the rich kid in my class used to be a dick explains a lot Comment from : Sajid Rahman |
i gives my money to the poor Comment from : anon1984 |

This vid sure resonates with TruthbrI do believe that those that have money become desensitized to those that are suffering from hunger, homelessness, etcbrA mean streak begins to appear because rich people generally get what they want and will do whatever it takes to stay rich They often become haughty and arrogant and believe they are better than most Not always, but far too often Comment from : Ame3thyst3 |

Not necessarily While I agree that this happens with a lot of people particularly in Wall Street, take into account the morality of a person I for one want to be rich because being rich means you have power But I am fully aware that with power, I have a moral obligation to help those who are in need I don't not need to be religious to help other people I just need to be a decent person Everyone wants to be rich It's just a matter of whether or not you are aware that you should use that richness and power for a moral cause Comment from : Ian G |

I've seen the two extremes of this example, my very own personal experience as people progress financially they do tend to become what this video proposes Never the less there is a considerable number of individuals who maintain grounded and actually use their newly acquired wealth to help out Comment from : MB |
