I knew ahead of time that I would not have enough money in my account to pay for the 2023 Silver Proof set I stopped the subscription order about 10 days ago, but I heard you mention that I needed to stop that single subscription 3 weeks ahead of the release date The Mint usually charges my checking account about 2 to 3 days before shipping, so I will have to stay on top of that order I prefer ordering from the Mint using my debit card and not my Credit Card because my Credit Card has like a 20 interest charge and that only increases the cost of my orders when the dust finally settles

I canceled the proofs because of the mintage and I figured the market wouldnt be there for them and I could pick them up cheaper later The subscription worked fine for me I canceled a month before on the proofs and set the uncirculated and the reverse proofs to what I wanted

I still did not receive the Proof Morgans I ordered I received my Peace Dollars (proof) and they arrived a day or two later The Morgan’s were just shipped yesterday I got the regular Morgans and Proofs on the same day - 2 days after release They are producing way too many… It should have been kept to a lower mintage Probably not going to continue with this subscription

Wow - that's a lot of Proof coins! I received an email from the US Mint almost two weeks before coins were shipped asking me to review my accounts, my payment methods, and my orders This would have allowed me to update my order/subscription I only got one each If you can affort it, I'd hold onto them for a while and sell them on eBay They're already selling for a premium despite not being sold out Good luck!

You won't make $50 per coin after ebay takes their cut and you factor in the 69's I feel you on the problems ordering but you kinda did it to yourself by not having your subs where you wanted them ahead of time Instead of trying to increase the # of subs last minute when they increased the max you would've been better off just ordering more the normal way as they were in stock Multi accounting bit you in the butt and you'll show your hand if you try to return them

I received 2 proof peace dollars with damage in the same spot and initiated a return for both My two proof morgan dollars look OK but one had a bunch of red lint in the capsule very strange I am now on the fence about returning the morgans since I wanted to make a set with the peace dollars I am not going to gamble again with the US mint and order more I think I will wait and buy PF70s once the prices go down I will not gamble with the reverse proofs either, if I decide to get them I will buy graded

The Mint gave everyone a warning via email and on their website, when the cutoff time was BUT, that was only after they totally screwed up the Unc Morgan and Peace dollars They REALLY screwed it up The problem I see, is that the price of the graded proofs, will drop in price very soon On a positive note, IMHOthe winner in all of this will be the reverse proof set You watch them skyrocket in price This is the first time ever, that the coins have been made as reverse proofs

Sorry, I disagree with you The Mint has done a great job with the subscription feature Works like a charm It is entirely reasonable for the Mint to say you need to lock down your order quantity and account information a week ahead of the release date People need to sh*t or get off the pot I have received beautiful examples of 2023 Morgan and Peace dollars I believe all but one would grade out as a 69 or 70
