Gamo Varmint is very accurate with the right pellets, Using Crosman premier Match grade 177cal 79 gr after sighting my Tasco Air 3-9X40 scope I shot a 3/8" group at 15 yards It shoots most pellets good but the 117Cal 7,9 grain flat nose is by far the best, and with that little extra weight it has will go through a 1" spruce board, The trigger is not good at all, on the Varmint, but take your time and it dose shoot great groups Comment from : Hilton McConnell |
I had a Benjamin Terrell and 25 caliber I have a stroke I could barely cock that damn gun it would go through a three-quarter inch sheet of plywood like butter Comment from : joe Wrasman |

Yes gamo swarm maxim in 45 or 55 are realy good and acurate, its light and quiet and reliable with good power, my 45 cal maxim is so acurate ill put a pellet in the same hole all day with a number of different pellet but my fav pellets are gamo hunter pellets when it comes to affordability, but Hades are for me the verry top but they are a little more expensive, i have a number of break barrel air rifles and im a big break barrel fan, why is because you only need a tin of pellets and your pellet gun and ur good to go, my most powerfull break barrel is a Artemis gr1600w 55 cal and it shoots gamo hunter pellets at 1600 fps lol, its a gas ram too, i shoot lotsa rats though and my maxim does that so perfectly with a hit every single time, exactly where i aimed and thats always a head shot, i dont hunt or shoot any other animals though but do alot of back yard plinking with both 45 and 55 and in covid times it kept me happy as ive always got a verry good stock of ammo 👍 Comment from : Fred Nel |

maybe you can explain to me why I was blocked for a week when I took out my air gun on live air just to show it and you make videos, show them without any problem Google says that no weapon or knife can be shown on YouTube, but it is full of such videos is there any special license required to create content about airguns? Comment from : Mobilios Rankos |
You had me at "shoot the neighbor's cat" Comment from : solarsynapse |
I like the part how you have the barrels pointing to your bellies Guns are always loaded that's what you always assume Second when you pick them up and handle them won't you accidentally shoot somebody in the head Yeah yeah I know it's not loaded But damn would it be funny if one went off Comment from : ja go |
HATSAN! I'll put it up against all your chosen gunsThe tx doesn't belong in this category nor any pcp 🤣 Comment from : Shaun |
I've owned many spring-piston air rifles ie FWB, Weihrauch, and some less expensive ones One thing I've learned is that you cannot gauge accuracy until you have fired at least 100 shots from a new rifle using the the same pellet Even the cheaper ones are pretty accurate if they have the front and rear sight mounted on the barrel because the alignment will always be the same Try different pellets, all rifles will shoot better with a particular pellet Comment from : Wells Hutchins |
Hi I'm using a ultratec 177 breack barrel I shoot a rabbit effectively at 274ft with the sharp point pellet can you make a video with squirrels please Comment from : Steve Duvenage |

"shoot yer neighbors cat" ? wtf?! Comment from : Airguns Anonymous |
Maybe cheap in the USA but double the price in Canada and regulated to 500fps unless you have a PAL,which is BULLSHIT because most air rifles don't actually shoot at the fps written on the gun Comment from : Tt |
As far as break barrels go I have a very old Feinwerkbau 124 that is an absolute dream to shoot and I wouldn’t trade it for the world Truly German workmanship at it’s finest and significantly better workmanship than the re-release model that’s available today Regardless on any of those springers you can’t have a death grip on the gun and a pellet pen really speeds loading and makes them much more enjoyable to shoot Comment from : Russell Chevalier |
Am shocked how cheap air guns are in USA they start at 400$ in uk (300quid) Comment from : Ste Robinson |
People shouldn’t knock air rifles; LEWIS & CLARK used them on their expedition…218yrs ago Comment from : Zelig Zemil |

Sorry I guess it's because of the time I grew up in but for me if it doesn't pump it's not a real air rifle That being said honestly how lazy are you if it bothers you to pump a pellet gun? Comment from : Josh Snethen |
where did you guys get the gamo varmint velocity Comment from : Tim Marks |
Do not shoot the neighbours cat Comment from : Keith McGuigan |

"Shoot your neighbors cat" Shame on you Comment from : J C |
I was a bit confused; you open by knocking the break barrel Ruger, and at the end, choose a break barrel as one of the rifles you like I have a Ruger Air Hawk I use to keep the critters in check in my yard, and off of my deck It's great, accurate and has sent more than its share of ground hogs to the great beyond I use it open sights and nickel groups aren't hard to achieve Comment from : Jerry Quintiliani |
I'm sorry but not many Gamo are good, over here they're seen as budget guns for plinking cos that's what they are Another spanish brand, Cometa are better made than Gamo, similar money as well Comment from : Jimmy Nich |
For real,,,I have a gamo break barrel and it won’t shoot consistent to save my life Won’t ever buy another one Comment from : Semi Auto |
Crossman legacy 1000 w scope I think I paid $70 I'm not spending over 15000 for an air rifle Comment from : Uriel |
At the 8:05 mark of this video your review the Beeman R52 I went to the Beaman website and I do not see R 52 It appears that this gun may have a multi pellet port Is this correct? Does this gun Go by a different name? I like the Woodstock and the extra sound may not bother me Please update this guns review Comment from : Saluh Mander |
I’m glad the safety comes on automatically when you fire the fancy air rifle Could you imagine what someones finger would look like if it accidentally fired when they were loading a pellet Probably why it works that way Safety first bud Thought you were all about it Hope you are But yeah It would be annoying But you can be sure you’ll still have your thumb when you finish shooting for the day Great video by the way Comment from : adam boylan |
Inexpensive right up until you have to start being a fully equipped scuba diver?😮brThat weapon belongs in another category I’m sure we’d all love to have one but let’s be practicalbrI have the Ruger Blackhawk and yes,it’s just not that accurate brGreat videovery informative and very well done I am going to start looking for the maxim Comment from : William Kessler |

CO2 Air Rifle
brAdvantages: Although the internal pressure in a CO2 rifle is limited to the pressure produced by the vaporizing CO2, that pressure is sufficiently high to drive pellets at approximately 600-700 FPS, making these rifles capable of hunting varmints While some of these types of air rifles use a hose hooked up to a CO2 tank, most utilize small cartridges of pressurized CO2, like Crosman Powerlets As in the reservoir of a PCP rifle, each CO2 cylinder holds enough gas to give a series of shots that can be shot simply by loading only the projectile These rifles are quick and quiet to reload, an important factor in some hunting scenarios, and CO2 cylinders are small and light enough to carry spares while hunting
br
brDisadvantages: As mentioned above, the internal pressure in a CO2 rifle is limited to the pressure produced by the vaporizing CO2
br
brThis type of air rifle is a simple and reliable option for heading out into the wild with For your next small game hunt, bring a CO2 rifle like the Heritage 2260 Comment from : deltasierrasix |
Recoil pads? Really??? Comment from : Skill et |
It kind of bothers me that they stand in front of dozens of rifles aiming directly at them Is it too hard to practice a little gun safety even with air rifles? Comment from : Krangbot |
Why are u flagging yourselves with like 15 rifles They ain't toys And lil kids are watching this Teach good fundamentals always in my opinion Comment from : YELL TELL |
What about PCP You’ll give up on brake barrels once you shoot a PCP I have several that will hit a golf ball in 100 yards Also if you put a scope on a break barrel it Hass to be specifically made for that gun Break barrels destroy regular scopes with their bi directional recoil response Comment from : Allen Berry |
PCP gun, nothing good happens when your shooting guns while high on PCP Comment from : Justin Case |
Why are all of the barrels pointed toward you guys Not good!! Comment from : D Lee |
i bought a crosman incursion years ago from midwayusa for 54$ was best money i ever spent on a 177 pellet gun very accurate very deadly kills coons opossum etc with ease way too much for a kid i wouldnt even let a child near this gun not sure about its speed but the box said 1200 fps i believe sure has a punch you can feel when you shoot it love the video you guys rule Comment from : Al Williams |
I think the extra 100 for the gamo with mach 1 is exactly that, the 33mm mach1 piston It`s larger and more powerful More air compressed means more power and fps, and is useful at longer range with heavier pellets Did u really test them all with the same pellets? Comment from : Peter Falken |
Clearly you guys are not educated on air guns enough to give an accurate review Garbage Comment from : Dexter Lecter |
Ya, some arent cheap My eyes feel compressed from wincing so much as they grab guns by the scopes, toss them on the table, and even pile them on top of each other I treat my Stormrider PCP like it's made of gold $315 with hand pump Same for my breakbarrel Gamo $158 Comment from : Gary Chandler |
Take a low-powered daisy make a screw in at the end for a small barrel piece of metal and you have a real gun that's a pain in the ass to reload Comment from : Morgan Flaherty |
"Shoot the neighbors cat"? what a axxhole comment our neighbor killed my mother's act I should have made him pay with extreme predjudice Comment from : OHUQTU |
Nice info but sounds like a talk show A lot of inter twine talking Comment from : Ken Thomas |

If my neighbor shot my cat, he would have a bad day I think thatbrWas a real bad joke Comment from : Russell Martin |
I disagree on discounting all the co2 powered riflesThe very popular crosman 2240 thru 2250xl 22 rat catchers are very good at killing pests Very light weight & highly upgradeable There are some others, but I think these are the most popular Comment from : T Teeters |
Sorry, was a decent review until they started talking about compressors Plenty of good compressors to load guns and tanks out there! Comment from : JC |
You can buy high pressure hand PCP pumps, they're about $150 and they look like an upside down bicycle pump They are a bit of work to use, but it also means you have infinite refills and you can use your rifle on a whim Comment from : Dave Stopforth |
Just becoming more familiar with air guns Unfortunately for the squirrels who wish to store bushels of pinecones under my house Thanks for the info Comment from : Tim Armstrong |
Were you using the 177 or 22 on the swam maxxim? Comment from : J New |

For an adult, you cant beat a subsonic rimfire bolt action And you can still get many that are cheaper than a good airgun No seals to worry about either Comment from : twintwo |
Thank you guys! Much appreciated Comment from : ARBOR 木 SAMURAI |
Having a gamo is like having a pile of shit i had 2 and none of them worked good ,,also they'r scope are useless Comment from : El COMPA MARTINEZ |
Talk about the three stooges! They could have thrown the guns on the table pointing AWAY from them Rather than picking the guns up by the barrel and pointing them all over the place to get them turned around Comment from : jstraus141 Straus |
The first mistake was having all the barrels point at you I'm sure they all are empty but got to practice safety at all times Comment from : Red Teamer |
Love the way you have all the rifles pointing at you You lost your integrity at that point Comment from : scanner lanier |
