I just replaced my 3 kicker cvr 10s with 2 12s power acoustik bamf running at 1ohm and I have to say they bangtook little longer to break in the most subs but gotta say didn't think these would bang this hard or flex like they dobudget subs for the win

I don't think Linear power was involved in the Blues speakers at first, they were a breakoff of Stillwater Designs aka Kicker Bought em in Pueblo Colorado in about 1990 and they were next to the Kicker competitions in the shop and blew the doors off em

They are very hard to come by these days and pricey, but i would love to see a deep dive on Blues audio and Linear power, back in the day when Blues first came out i had the 105's and the 65's on linear power amps, i could not blow those Blues speakers, i still have the 65's, brittle now but still fire, i put so many watts to those tens, rms i think was 150 or 300 watts, they took 3000 no problem and didnt even get hot or smoke, Blues are fantastic, not powerhouses but just durable as hell, the coils on them are just insane

You should make a removable wall enclosure Put it in for testing and take it out for driving so you don't have major blind spots Wall, wall, wall!! Spl score I bet would be phenomenal!!

i would not do test like you do bryou seem to forget that each sub need it own back cubage bryou are using the same box for all ,,,,brbrmake your test with individual special made for each subs and make it in free air so youll get the thru rathing brafter witch you can add 10 db to give you a quick idea of how it will react in a close chamber such as a car

Check out the ds18 zxi high excursion 36xmax,im running 4,so far they are some beastsThey just came out in 2022,3inch black aluminum voice coils,quad stack magnetPersonally i love them and wont break the bank

Hey I got 2 12” skar subs with a 1200 amp and after I play them for a while with the gain up they start to clip and get distorted They sound good for a while but after playing them for a while not so good Does this mean I need a more powerful amp or did I damage my subs?

Got my first set of subs about 16 years ago They were Cadence Beast on a Cadence Z series amp (analog) Those were probably the best sounding subs I've ever had Next was some Memphis Audio M3s wasn't impressed Went to a couple Cadence ZRS with a C2 amp Hit hard but still never had the quality of the Beast IMO Now I'm running some Crossfire 10s in a custom built Fox Box clone w/ custom port (under backseat of a crew cab) These are good quality Sound good and hit good for what they are

Had the Skar dual 1 ohm zvx wired up to a skar 2,000 watt amp at 1/2 an ohm Dust cap did not last a week Other than that I like the zvx 😂
