I think there should be a way to make rides like those coin-operated ones, but bigger, so adults could fit I like gentle motions, like rocking, so a custom-themed coin-operated ride big enough to fit an adult would be a dream for people like me, adults who like gentle motions of rides and not so much the thrilling rides you can find at parks and fairs around the world

That Bert and Ernie fire truck ride went off right when you passed it hahahabrbrAlso, the green UFO ride is a licensed Jetsons ride from Kiddie's Inc, made in 1995 Sadly, it is missing the large top cover with the Jetsons cast

Memories! Wow I remember those quarter rides outside such esteemed establishments as Kmart and Woolworths! What kid from the 70s and 80s didn't beg their granny for a quarter or two to get a giant gum ball from the candy machine and ride the pony? When I was a kid, almost every large grocery store had a couple of these up in front near the check-out stands, where the candy and gumball machines were They cost a dime (yeah, old fart here) and Mom would let me ride one if I'd behaved in the store One in particular that I remember, was a space rocket capsule that had a little console with a screen that played a movie that made it look like it was traveling through stars in space, while it rocked back and forth I haven't seen one like it in over forty years It brings back memories, the hum of the motor and the rocking, while hearing the voices of the checkers calling out prices marked on items with the button-clicks and ka-chunks of the old electro-mechanical registers
