If he were telling the truth, there would be a graph of coin production, or there'd be some hard data to back up his implied and vague claim that they are on track to make the most coins this year Given that many cash stores have gone bankrupt, the need for coins has decreased Cash retailers purchase coins, consumers discharge them at coin machines So, with less demand, there should be bmore/b supply, not less There is something wrong with his claim that they are making more, unless they are minting more than destroying even more And it is curious that this request comes the same week that "they" announce a digital currency system See wwwfederalreservegov/newsevents/pressreleases/other20200806ahtm , which of course is the opposite of cash/coins

In my kitchen I have a large mason jar Inside the mason jar is exactly $2367 By the time this is all sorted out, inflation will have severely devalued that $2367 and the purchasing power will be equivalent to around $20 (give or take $050) Why on earth would I “help” a government entity speed up the process to zero-out my mason jar of spare change?
