Do you still have the raw one? That’s the one I would pick because I like to touch my coins I would like to talk to you more about the raw one if you still have it please contact me Comment from : G0v3rñM3Hård3r |

Good advice I'm in the 64 camp as well Comment from : Silver Bean Counter |

I really enjoyed this one - I love raw coins at close to spot of course, but given the prices you mentioned I would take the ms64 for sure Comment from : BigstackMcgee |
|
Is it bad for that one to be super loose in that capsule? I thought they were supposed to be tight so they don’t get damaged? Comment from : Silver Dragons |
|
Definitely would get the 64 over the 63 There isn't much price difference between grades So many St Gaudens survived in pristine condition, as they're stored in bank vaults for decades So it's best to get the highest grade that you can afford Comment from : MrMonkeySwag96 |

I wish I could get a better look at those coins The 64 seems to have a coating of dirt on the high spots At my LCD, all coins would fetch the same price, about 95 of spot and sell for the same price, 5 over Interestingly, the only St Gaudens I have ever owned was the 1924 So when a really nice coin shows up, I grab it I just bought a proof 2001 Canadian $100 gold for 1 1/2 below spot One has to buy low because it is a dog eat dog world out there and it's tough to sell Auction prices might sound good, but after subtracting fees, more people take a loss than not Comment from : MétéoMan |
