Thank you so much for making this video, it is hugely helpful! One thing I am curious about - where do you keep track of your outgoing expenses (the cost of publishing, author copies, etc) and how does that compare to the income? I know that's personal, but I for one would so appreciate seeing it all laid out in spreadsheet, and, like you said, seeing what is possible!

Great video, gave me a glow I had a book released in June last year and have made $1500 on it It is a non-fiction book and I had no idea how well it would do I don't have an author platform and don't advertise or do any marketing at all I am almost finished with my second book, so I am hoping for even more sales as the competition is very low indeed It is a very niched book brWish me luck

Maybe expected idk but those numbers do look nice I got 20+ ebooks but all are free I got 7 paperbacks last year I made like 45-50 bucks this year I'm at 40 now within 3 months probably going to have a better year but like 100+ bucks But from here on out, I'm gonna start to put prices on my ebooks I wanna get where you are at

I love stats so yes yes yes about the totals!! brbralso, I feel like the stats on indie authors is skewed because that includes the people who don’t actually try and just randomly post because they think it’s easy money (ie the reason indie publishing has a bad name)
