I was issued a M16A1 It was the most unreliable POS I ever fired! No tolerance for dirt or dust, continual mag jams, getting burned with the gas tube The rifle is gas operated so every time the bolt housing group is blown back, the chamber is filled with spent propellant I had to go into combat with this thing! Overall, it looks like a toy It was such a sucky rifle, I've never touched another I'll stick with the M14 the old man gave me

LOL you IDIOT Why does any civilian NEED to own a semi auto center-fire rifle that can take 30/40/100+ round magazines???? They ARE weapons of war, just not fully automatic Stop the propaganda BS I LOVE guns, but I don;'t think any average civilian should be able to buy these or any other "military" style semi auto rifle, that can take more than 5 rounds ( except maybe farm/ranch owners for hog eradication etc) And unless you live on Mars - the favorite rifle to do mass shootings/school shootings is the AR platform Also just look for an example - the North Hollywood shootout They had AK's with 100 round drum magsYour country is unbelievably out of control with guns There is a MASSIVE difference between wanting and needing a firearm As for home defense - a shotgun is perfect for all you "scared" right wing nuts Again - I LOVE firearms ( am a Veteran), but civilians should not have access to these or body armour etc The US is absolutely out of control with guns, yet you all think you have this crazy right to own whatever you want WTF civilian needs to own a 50 cal semi auto sniper rifle??????You need your head checked

I looked at 3 of those guns and ended up buying a LWRC ic spr the precision manufacturing not to mention that fluted barrel was just on a different level Have over 2500 rounds through it and not 1 malfunction It was a little more expensive than those guns but I couldn't be happier with it

Certainly AGREE with your DD and BCM choices Most likelyIF it came down to EITHER the DD OR the BCM?I’d go BCM Mainly because of 3 OUT OF 4 DD’s we have, ONLY 1 has its ‘castle nut’ STAKED No big deal EVERYBODY saysand it’s really not, UNLESS ‘THEY’ themselves tell you “they’re ALL SUPPOSED TO BE staked BEFORE they leave Black Creek” So, there’s that I can only SUPPOSE you’re right with AeroI don’t have an ‘Aero’ AR
