I never searched YouTube for Rossm, funny this video appeared I bought a Rossm wallet on Amazon around January and love it I've always wanted the Ridge wallet but not for $90+ Rossm, you get a cash strap, money clip, extra screws and extra elastics all for the $25 I paid Ridge charges you extra for a cash strap AND money clip However I imagine because of increasing manufacturing costs, they've increased in price Still cheaper than Ridge but they are closer to $50 now At least on their website at the time of typing this because they are no longer sold on Amazon Rossm replied to a comment of mine on their Facebook page saying they are working on restocking their Amazon store Comment from : Official Digital HDx Productions

I received the Ridge forged ember wallet as a present (10 year anniversary discount) Absolutely love this minimalist wallet, and I'm never going back to leather bifolds I bought the Rossm gunmetal (beautiful color) as a walking wallet (1 credit card, OMNY card, that's it), and out of curiosity Yea, the Rossm is definitively a 9989 replica of the Ridge wallet The only decipherable difference was the Ridge has an ever so slightly less sharper edges I love my Ridge, but I would wholeheartedly recommend the Rossm as better, more economical alternative The 10 year Ridge anniversary sale is over, so it's back to its regular price, which does not feel reasonable, only unless you want the brand name on your wallet They are both functionally 100 the same (I have both of them with the cash strap) Comment from : Cre810sion

Good review I am naturally alergic to boys toys, especially insanely expensive ones, so I came to this rather skeptical And stayed that way! brbrI really don't see the point of these wallets - my old leather one is a lot easier to use and holds everything I need And it's hardly worn at all over the years - no scratches, no loose/missing screws, no need to replace parts It's also big enough to fit snuggly in my pocket, so I know it's there, and it isn't going to fall out If I had one of these tiny things, I'd always be worried about losing it! But the big question for me is, if like most people, you carry more than cards and a few notes around with you - what on earth do you do with all the other stuff? I have no dog in this race, but it already looks like the ridge has better hardware The screws look better machined, have a smaller tool hole for better clamping force and not stripping the tool side (to me means a better quality of metal is used to make the screws) The elastic looks like a tighter weave meaning better clamping force and resilience to repeated stretching I would be interesting to see if the color or carbon fiber will rub off or damage cards from repeated use over the years Is all this worth the extra price? The biggest problem I have with these is that if you live / travel to Europe they have no coin pouch Not a big deal in the US because we don’t use coins really and card is accepted everywhere But I think I’d have a tough time using a slim wallet in Europe Plus when I have the coin pouch in my normal wallet I find myself paying in exact change (even if just once and while) because I have the coins anyways If I did get something like this, I’d get something with a spring loaded or some kind of mechanism that springs the cards outwards It doesn’t look very convenient separating the two pieces of metal on either of these Just my opinion, thoughts? I wouldn't be surprised if the a company Ridge went to in China to have their wallet made went off and made this brand too You see it in all sorts of things, that's what happens when there's little law preventing it, and you buy manufacturing as a service Also tells you how much overhead Ridge likely has on their beyond overpriced productbrbrAlso I have used a similar product, two really The Dango D01 is my main wallet, ended up getting the extra card holding leather flap after as it didn't exist when I bought the wallet Decent wallet if you don't have a ton of cards, ID + some paper, business, or insurance cards easily fit in the front, 4 cards in the main compartment(1 embossed card), and currently have 5 in the little extra flap Also had the original Andar Pilot as a cheaper alternative to the Secrid wallet, I think I was able to fit 4-5 in the main compartment with 2 embossed cards(numbers on opposite sides), it was decent but the Secrid would offer a lot more with the extra external slots that look like they'd work better for an ID or other items Comment from : MooTaters
