KB32, about 25 years ago I shot at a place E/NE of Rutherfordton We shot out to 1K yards, from one hill over to another They had other distances set up with their own separate firing lines They also had pistol bays and trap I've tried for years to figure out where that was Wondering if you had any idea where that was and if it's still in operation?

Hey KB, you should check out Virtue of Defense, they're in Old Fort between Charlotte and Asheville 3 25yd ranges, and a 700yd range with steel The also host some 2 and 3 gun competitions

I dislike this, mostly because I live in Tucson and haven't seen that many trees or that much grass in 5 years The ranges here are desert cold in the morning, windy as all hell when the sun begins to warm things, and hot as can be by 1300 brI would like you to refilm this in late Spring while everything is greening so I can jump out my one story window

Nice range setup! I'm in the Raleigh/Fayetteville NC area, but nice to see other places around the state My home range doesn't have any long distance ranges unfortunately, but they have plenty of tactical ranges Would love to have a place to shoot out past 500 yards

Also, the same range that started the 3 gun Battle Buddy competitions for wheelchair vets is in Aynor SC It may be a bit far, but it's super super nice with pistol, skeet and rifle it to 600 Think you said you were going to be at the next 3gun Battle Buddy event in Aynor!!!

KB32, there is a facility near Society Hill SC that costs $125/yr to be a member Every member is given the combination to the gate You can go wherever you want 365 days a year It's got a 300 yard Target and walks in at 50yrd could There a small but nice pistol Bay and had a small club house that has 15 benchtop shooting stationsbrIf your looking for a nice, affordable rifle and pistol range not too far from Charlotte depending where you are in Charlotte, let me know It's really a nice convient place to shoot and do videos!!
