I Have a couple of videos where you can see the drawing process in charcoal from reference You can see his point, as the amount of time and effort it takes to draw the whole thing makes it a smart choice to skip this step if you can (depending on your project aims that is) I love the process of drawing even though its very much less efficiant anyway Great work Alpay your videos are an inspiration!

I used to paint as a kid/tween, but gave it up because I got discouraged with the clean up and the many different ways of mess it up I'm about to be a high school senior and I want to get back into painting A little bit ago me and a friend went and got some old paintings from goodwill and painted over them, I got one of a baby deer, I turned it into a fantasy/prehistoric deer, I took inspiration from vampire deer and prehistoric horse stripe patterns and had a really good time, now I want to make my own fantasy deer and get better at art!

I paid first time face on my jeans only is a side face and i didn't find similar to make more realistic eyes and mouth the color i managed because i studied contour like a proso it helps

I’m sure you get hundreds of comments every day, and with this video being posted almost a year ago the chances of you seeing this are next to none However, in the off chance you do I want to say that I am a budding artist and hope to do it professionally one day, and watching your videos has been such a validating experience for me I already paint with the same sort of system you are describing here, and have always felt like I am “not as good” of an artist for doing it this way, despite creating the same caliber results as my peers I’ve been bingeing your videos the last few days and it has been such an eye opening experience that has given me hope I want to say thank you for sharing and let you know how much your work inspires me!!
