A Mac is not a PC, it is a Mac A PC will run any operating system but Mac A Mac will only run Mac by default, but it has tools to run Windows, and it's not hard to run other variants of Linux The difference between Mac and PC is that Mac is proprietary and PC is open source and sometimes unreliable Macs should not be on a list of PCs Macs are a category of their own Maybe you should have called this a list of the top 5 best desktop computers

If you buy a Dell, make sure that you can fix any problems yourself Dells customer service is the worse in the world I think the reps have been trained to piss people off so bad that they just "go away"! Sorry but Dell sucks, I can't believe ASUS wasn't even on this list, not saying their the best - but I had a Dell and own an ASUS Dell is dead and ASUS is still alive and kicking and the reps at ASUS were much more helpful than Dell!!brbrI have an old HP pavilion that is still going strong, sad that my new Dell crashed and burned in a fraction of the time I have had my HP and that is sad! Dell caters to large business and us the consumer are neglected - from my personal view anyhow brbrA part of my job where I work is to talk to vendors a good part of the day and I have had some hair pulling conversations, but Dell tops the charts at mentally frustrated discussions on the most primitive PC tech problems!!!

I'd have to disagree with the dell XPS 27 and Mac pro being on the top 5 $2000+ isn't exactly the best deal (getting a cheaper xps 27 will end up with similar/worse specs than most laptops) especially since the Mac pro can go up drastically in price and needs other hardware such as the 4k screens its capable of driving, and its really more of a work station for professionals The iMac would work much better, but none of them are meant for gaming, not to mention most gaming is done on windows to begin with
