I hope they make a Sins 2 game, and incorporate whatever the Vasari were fleeing from They have a very interesting backstory, with the Vasari losing contact with core worlds, sending a huge fleet out to investigate, only to have 1 ship return, with its crew having gone mad from whatever they witnessed This led the Vasari to flee and exploit as many resources as they can along the way, running from whatever attacked them

Story isn't usually the point with 4x games--a single 4x match can last 20 hours or more which just doesn't translate well into a campaign Civilization, Alpha Centurai, Galactic Civilizations, etc have all been extremely popular, well received and successful without campaigns Which is not to say that I don't want a campaign for Sins of a Solar Empire--I would love it if Rebellion were to be released with a campaign--but it's not something anyone should expect or get their hopes up for
