At first I thought, "wow, we really do have such a large logically fallacy here!" but now I think I actually disagree, because of the law of diminishing returns in economics I still agree with you in certain cases, but not in others One such case is this: let's say I was going to buy a $10 dessert with those $10, and it's the only cash I have on me Because of diminishing returns, the first dessert I could buy with my ten dollars is more valuable than the second one I could buy with yours, and so even though the bet seems equal, and it is if you are trying to optimize money, it isn't if you are trying to optimize utility for yourself

Chance doesn't have a memory so there's theoretically as much chance of 100 heads in a row as a 50/50 split But once you begin counting results you are creating a memory so you stand a far, far greater chance of a 50/50 split over 100 heads
