I personally use a slimline wall mounted low energy electric heater in the winter in my main living area when I'm home most of the day on my own, it's much cheaper than having the heating running all day all around my home It's simply isolating the heat to where you need it and because my kitchen, dining, and family room are open plan we get extra heat when I'm cooking As this is where we spend the majority of our time and have a large home with many rooms not used, we only run the heating for an hour or two before bed Comment from : The Frugal Momma |
