Thank you for putting these together, it's so nice to have one video both for myself and to send to others! I do wonder why you are soft on the AAA credit cards? The AAA daily advantage Visa is 5 on groceries up to $10k, max $500 annual, which is more than the Blue Cash Preferred 6 of $6,000, even after you include the $7 a month towards Disney Plus!

Citi allows you to convert any no AF card to the Citi Custom Cash [CCC] card That's how I got 2 CCCs I got my 1st CCC in 2021 when it was launched This year, I converted my Citi Double Cash to Citi Custom Cash

I looked up the AAA Daily Advantage He said it is capped at $2500 per year, but it literally says on the screen that the cap is $10,000 per year Perhaps he meant $2500 per quarter

I think for people who have Verizon the Verizon credit card is great for groceries, Eating out and fuel It also gives you the same discounts you get using a debit card

Honestly if it’s not due to the lack of purchase/travel protection, my family would probably just focus on getting citi cards for SUB and convert them all to custom cash except for one rewards+, (one for premier) regardless if we are on the mood of team cash back or tram travel

As a team cash back player, I have focused on getting several 5 cash back cards over the last few years Right now, I’m using the Chase Freedom Unlimited for 5 back on groceries, Discover It for restaurants, Citi Custom Cash for gas, Chase Freedom Flex for Amazon and Lowes, and US Bank Cash+ for utilities and cable/internet/streaming My catch all card right now is the Hilton Honors card since I’m trying to meet the spend requirement for the bonus Eventually, I would like to become a hybrid team cash back and team travel, so I plan on getting the Amex Gold card eventually and that will serve as my food card when I can’t otherwise get 5 back in those categories All the cards that you and RJ mentioned are great cards that are interchangeable to best fit everyone’s cash back strategy These collaboration videos are all very interesting and I enjoy watching all of them!

I use Citi Custom Cash the most, and it's for non-Walmart grocery only I'm a low spender, and I try to limit my CC sign up to 2-3 every year, but that's like 6-9 months where I'm not using any of my other CCs This means the multipliers only matter for 3-6 months, and they are much smaller than what I would get from SUBs annually (even if I make all multipliers 5x, excluding rent) So, technically I'm team cash back, if it's only between travel and cash back, but I'm more team SUB, if that is a team to be considered

Even though I’m all in on Amex and Marriott I put all my groceries on the Blue Cash Preferred That 6 on groceries combined with the $84/year Disney plus credit easily clears that $95/af I max the 6k in groceries per year easily

For me, the most useful place for cashback cards are monthly bill payments (ie utility & streaming subs), bc once you set it up, it's pretty much automated I just set up my US Bank Cash+ to pay my utilities every month and I'm guaranteed to get 5 back on my utilities every month with no work Sure, it's better to pay them back with a card that you're working a bonus offer towards, but it's just too much hassle for me

I’m more team cash back though I plan on leaning more heavily into the travel over the next few years, which is why I picked up the Amex Gold card recently, but I really like cards with currencies that you have the option of redeeming either way without losing any value on the cash back side, so I’ll have to see whether I end up sticking with Amex long term If the redemption values are amazing I’ll probably end up keeping the card
