I would rather buy 1 ounce 9999 Silver bullion over an ASE that is only 999 fine and cost $10 to $15 more That’s the bottom line Comment from : AlienLifeForm |
90 premiums have a long way to go before they get down to $5 over spot Checking just now (8/10/23), 90 is running $10 per ounce ($140 FV) over spot I'm not sure 90 will ever again get as much metal per dollar as bars & rounds, and almost certainly will carry a higher premium than even government minted bullion coins from now on The days of 90 US coinage giving the most bang for the buck are permanently over Comment from : smart451cab |
$2786@bullion exchange bought 100, great price! Comment from : Mane |
Wow in Canada we pay 12 over spot for just about any silver Comment from : Wayne Beck |

Maples are the only coin that are made and will come without milk spots on them I think the Maples are the best looking coin to Comment from : The Average Guy |
My opinion: brBro, if you "are finally able to stack these coins" you are just thinking like a day trader We never even got within a fifty to one ratio of silver to gold Quit the drama/whining and call it how it is - Americans in the mid 1800s would consider this number untenable Comment from : Abraham A |
I* feel incredibly fortunate for having made wise financial choices that have had a life-altering impact As a single mother residing in Toronto, Canada, I successfully purchased my second home in September If everything continues to progress positively, my aspiration is to retire next year at the age of 50** Comment from : Clara Fabian |

I think your wrong here, just bought a bunch of ASE rolls for $580 and I’ve done this twice this year Once when spot was low I was able to trade those rolls for gold at $720 a roll There’s spot and premium play here with eagles Not just spot with rounds … Comment from : James Itsines |
$999 over spot is considered "on sale" for ASE's Comment from : juggernaut316 |
Here in Canada my bullion dealer sells Maples and Eagles the same price The cost over regular rounds is only $3 more Comment from : Darren Soldan |

They were the most selling coin in the world till the Biden administration took over Everything is garbage Like 3rd world Comment from : Mike G |
Monument metals has them $499 over for 2023's Comment from : Chewys Channel |
I started buying silver in 2015 and from what I remember premiums were pretty steady at about 10 over spot for rounds and 20 for eagles between 2015-2019 This is about where we are now so IMO this about the lowest the spread will be Comment from : Charles Carpenter |
Maybe just wait until about 4 over spot I think 350 would be perfect but that is still a lot you can get 100 ounce bars 150 over spot but 350 over for a eagle would be reasonable because sometime over next few years things will get screwed up again, and they will be back to making only 700,000 a month outside of January again and you may have another window of time to sell them at 10 over spot again Comment from : Silverback |
I really appreciate the dedication in each video you post Despite the dip in crypto, I still thank you for the level-headed financial advice I started crypto and forex investment with $4,345 and since following you for few weeks now, I’ve gotten $18,539 in my portfolio Thanks so much Mrs Mary Graf Comment from : Chun Hua |

I purchased 5 Silver Eagles for $32 each, a week ago This week I intend to see how much difference I would have to pay to exchange 20 Silver Maples for 20 Silver Eagles, this week Comment from : toejam |
I’m not sure if this is rumor, since I don’t hear it often…brI understand it is a better deal to stack rounds when considering spot price and high likelihood to sell ‘soon’ in a non-SHTF situation brBut I think I heard that if a silver/gold stash is to be taxed for capital gains, as when passed to children, the monetary coins [from some countries] would be taxed on face value??brIs it better to stack “some” or “many” higher premium coins if it is a planned long-term stash, for lower taxes?br[assuming that tax is a concern to the stash holder]brThanks! Comment from : EarlyGirl |
I dont own any type 2 eagles only type 1's and the price of both of them are still at the equivalent of $45 usd but i paid $31 usd for all mine here in New Zealand, they were not new but they were uncirculated obviously Comment from : mike hoskin |
It's also my understanding that there's one retailer who's selling eagles at break even prices (for them) to get their name out there As what direction the mint is going to go I think that no one can take the pulse of the US Mint at this point You could put a chimp in charge of the mint and it would be run with greater efficiency than it has been in recent years Comment from : QuickSilver |
I'm still not stacking these heavily I've been lucky to buy them at $30 a coin (grabbed a couple tubed over the last year) from a private seller letting me have them at that price (this was when others silver was selling for over $30/ounce as well and eagles were over $40 So, think I did well there, but they'd have to come down more for me to really buy in heavily Comment from : Christopher Garland |
I quit buying Eagles for about 6 months Im getting them now for $29 each for backdates Thanks for the update Silver Dragons 👍🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈 Comment from : bluewaterSTAX1980 |

I like the ASE a lot more than any generic silver rounds and a bit more than other silver coins, so if there is a reasonable premium I'll buy the ASE Glad premiums are coming back to earth Comment from : Travis |

Naa most will still not buy because prems will still be higher than any other silver but should be buying because I bet my last dollar that if you are an American you should be buying them because everything is pointing to them being the preferred method of payment in the USA Comment from : OrgoneMatrix1111 |
Rumor has it that the US has low silver inventory, and the UK has been filling the gap The UK supply may be bringing the US silver inventory high enough where they can increase the silver Eagle production Comment from : Eric Neil |

Assuming our Congressional representation isn't completely worthless, we could complain to them that Janet Yellen doesn't appear to be following the law and is openly flaunting Congress and the mandate they've put on Treasury and the Mint Comment from : Butts-R-Fly Effect |
A bit off topic, but does anyone out there look at their pocket change anymore? I worked in an ice-cream shop back in the late 70's and when traffic was slow, I used to comb through the register change and occasionally came up with some good stuff A fair share of junk silver, a buffalo nickle here and there, wheat pennies a lot My favorite find was a 1901 Indian Head penny in VF condition No scuffs or nicks, just lightly circulated condition brIn today's mostly cashless society, I never hear of people looking at change anymore A couple of weeks ago, I came across a generic wheat penny and was kind of excited about it Chucked it in with my pile of over 500 It wasn't anything special, just thought it was cool that a wheat penny from 1951 was still roaming about the country Comment from : Threedog |
