I personally have a lot i don’t like about the tank simply cause it’s not my style Comment from : Wild Destroyer |
It makes me laugh whenever this is referred to as a hobby There are no skills involved and no growth except in taste It's mainly centered around just owning things, and is pretty superficial Anyone claiming otherwise is just silly Comment from : Vercingetorix4 |
I like to complain about spring drives, I don’t get it :) Comment from : Jack9579 O |
I'd much rather buy another Movado than a Cartier Tank Comment from : Plata ori Plumbu |
Panerai Marina not in the list???? Comment from : David Whitcomb |
Just got my hands on a Doxa Sub 200 Sharkhunter, my first diver watch brbrI’ve seen some mixed reviews on this specific watch, mostly good - some not so good, but I’m absolutely in love with it Such a solid watch & it’s absolutely gorgeous I know it’s not on this list but I feel it could be an honorable mention Comment from : Jonathan |
The gshock is so bad😂 lmao Comment from : redfv serh |

How could you have this list without the Rolex submariner no date and the Rolex Daytona These two watches should have been in the top 5 at the very least brYes some do despise Rolex for there success and are just jealous, l think deep down they know Rolex is the greatest watch brand ever, its just annoys some people brRolex to the watch world is like Jesus to Christianity, like Muhammad to Islam , Buddha to Buddhism and like Moses to Judaism Comment from : MALIK SHABAZZ |
I disagree we watch enthusiasts disagree a lot 😂 Comment from : Julien Froidevaux |

Odd to not include the Royal Oak Comment from : Hyper |
Not a fan of the Rolex watches myself, more like the TudorsThe PRX is great if you get the quartz versionPatek Philippe is just really for millionaires or executive bossesFor people with normal sense and not much money,Seiko,Longines and Hamilton are the brands to look for Comment from : Tibor Tatrai |

I love my Speedmaster Reduced Comment from : Captain Willard |
The PRXmovement and its Swatch group variants are😢 just not practical! While technically its light years ahead of other watches in its price Range It is too expensive to Repair and adjust with way too long a wait for same because it has to go to back Tissot for that! Comment from : David Crandall |
are you Dave2D brother? Comment from : Hallo Sarhang |
J Comment from : Henri Birol |
Is the grand seiko real ?? Look insane Comment from : Melvin POPOTTE |
Given that both of the watches in my two watch collection are on here (Khaki Field and Bambino), I think this is a pretty good list! PRX is next Comment from : Rob Pitney |
For me the cartier tank is were it is beacuse its cartier, a watch with same (standard tank) specs with the name wallmart tank would not sell for 3000$ Its a fashion watch that got famouse But you buy it not for the watch you buy it because its cartier 😉 Comment from : Mattias Folkesson |
What about the SARB 033 and 035? Comment from : JR Leeman |
I would add Sinn 556 in this list Comment from : Octave31 |

The things i would do for a Patek perpetual calendar Comment from : Craig Riley |

I have a Seiko SRPD Another entry level dive watch from the brand and yes, it was my gateway drug into collecting watches Comment from : Aqif |

What watch is worn in this video? Comment from : Afifa Danish |
Im impressed that you were able to talk about the Casio Oak G-Shock without mentioning the actual reason why people like them; it looks like an AP Comment from : Manny |
Blue PRX powermatic 80 blue dial is just absolutely breathtaking Comment from : Awf Avila |
The Casioak has replaced the 5610/5600/5000????? Comment from : evanshall |
What about ALS? Comment from : Bobur Rasulov |
What’s the Rolex baggage? I’m not a well versed watch guy but am curious Comment from : Twinkyboy |
Why is the explorer always picked? The date just is far classier and about 2k more expensive Comment from : Wavy Goods |
Great presentation, I would have included also an IWC portuguese and a Zenith Chronomaster For the entry budget, I would have included a citizen "solar" (eco-drive) diver watch Finaly for the cartier, I prefer the "American" tank, much more elegant thant the regular tank Comment from : EGA CIE |
Looks like I am either weird watch enthusiast, or I'm not enthusiast at all :) From the list presented, only Speedmaster, Casioak and Black Bay make my heart beat faster :) I don't like current frigid incarnations of field watches - they are mixing old and new too prominently could not find a single model that suits me, though I like the idea (I think, german "fliegers" do it in a more proper way, though not without issues, too); f everything, that says "Rolex" on it - good watch that became a symbol of showing off Cartier Tank is too pretentious and I would feel like a pig in tuxedo, wearing it Love for Tissot and Orient - I'm perfectly OK with that, except I've jumped over them somehow and while I could come back to G-Shocks, those two brands are not for those who had a taste of Breitling or Omega already (but I love new Tissot's Seastar 2000, it's a highly wothy watch!) Seiko got one just for penguin feet on it's dial, but I don't see where the money goes with Seiko Grand Seiko grand dials and bland, frigid cases No And of course, I like Patek Philippe chronos, except I cannot afford one :) Seagull 1963 would be more proper enthusiast watch here ;) Comment from : MrSysadmin1975 |
I need your help I am new to watches My first piece was a Hamilton Khaki Aviation I spent about $1,000 and love the styling Now I'm looking for my second watch and cannot find something that fits everything I seem to like I'd like a gold case, brown leather strap, blue dial under $2,500 Comment from : Jonathon Foster |
You'll love this Just picked up two brand new Tavannes, you don't talk about enough, for 150 each Didn't ask where he got them Lol Comment from : william walker |
Funny when I think of Hamilton, it’s the Ventura that comes to mind, not the overly busy faced one you picked that looks like something an adolescent would wear to Boy Scouts Comment from : notleM craM |
Really surprised by your video I start my collection and all the modets i have or target are in your list (jlc reverso, omega speedmaster, tissot prx, hamilton khaki field, g shock) ! Comment from : Franck37 |
I took off my Hamilton Khaki 44mm this morning, put on my Seiko SK009 On Wednesday I’ll go back to work with either a G Shock, Omega Aqua Terra 41 or Omega Diver 300 My Seiko is an original, but I’m starting to feel like a runner up in all areas! After this video I dare not mention my no date sub…………… Comment from : John Hill |
The only one I just don’t care for is the g shock … never really have Comment from : STMs |
I would have added moonswatch Comment from : Francisco Javier Vazquez Perez de la Cruz |
Can you guys stop buying Grand Seikos please, the price keeps going up I don't understand what field watches are, they are my least favourite Comment from : Sonny B |
How about Longines? They also offer a lot for the money and are big in Asia Their legend diver on a Milanese strap and the new Zulu pieces are great Comment from : Jimmy |
For Rolex I would have gone with the Datejust The Tudor stands out here I think as it's far from as loved or accepted as any of the others Comment from : ZesPak |
The Orient Bambino I think is sensational, and this is coming from someone who owns Rolex, Omega and LJC I love the Tissot PRX auto in the blue dial I got sucked into the Black Bay back in the day but the case shape is horrible The BB58 is the only BB you should consider The SKX is a fun piece and I have many SKX-focussed mods If you want SKX fun make one yourself from aftermarket parts/mod stores The snowflake is a great piece but I can't get into GS steel bracelet watches because I don't like their bracelets Comment from : The Gorn |
Teddy you never talk about the brands you sell on your website Why? 😀 Comment from : Waqar Ghulam |
Teddy mentions the khaki field in every video lol Comment from : Joey Kang |
I like the PRX but it's going to age really badly Comment from : D C |
dude why do people like you stretch a 5 min video into 15 - is it part of the YT algorithm? People want answers straight away for things like this Comment from : Gerry Francis |
Great video, I am new to watches but can sense your passion for watches! Comment from : Hikki |
Explorer over the Submariner??? Nah Comment from : John Hoover |
i need a 35mm blue dial powermatic 80 and i need it now! Comment from : Classic |
I've been collecting over the past 15 years and I like designs from the four and five hundred range and many of those are Seiko and one Tissot I have one higher end which is a Tag Heuer Carrera and I'm considering saving for a spring drive design I understand that the King Seiko model offers one So which would be the better choice Ted, the King or Grand Seiko? Comment from : Donkeytime |
Teddy should stop tiptoeing around his viewers feelings No need to preface everything with a disclaimer about how you feel on a watch Oi! Comment from : Hugh Blaisdell |
Teddy, would you mind sharing the type of car(s) you drive? I'm sure there is a taste convergence between these fields Enjoying your channel thanks! Comment from : Laguna2013 |
I have the Submariner and the Speedmaster, I would never ever sell the Omega Comment from : Carlos Canziani |
The Bambino is my fav 'smart, casual' look I just can't stop looking at it when I wear it :) Comment from : danial lau |
a + teddy Comment from : Phil Amor |
Great list, so many to choose from but you really narrowed it down well, across a great variety of watches Comment from : Aki |
I was going in for a prx, opted for Q timex reissue It's a more versatile watch, you can wear it with a t shirt or a button down Next wedding or suit I gotta wear ill get a prx, it's inevitable I can't resist affordable watches with great style Comment from : enter a name here |
greetingslove your videos Will you be Laies watches anytime? Comment from : Jose Latorre |
That gold with green dial Tudor 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Comment from : André Monet Leverette Jr |
I'm buying the PRX next week and I'm completely torn on the blue or black dial Comment from : FlapJackDaddyClapsDummy ThiccPancakeCheeksNoSyrup |
Received a Seiko Monster quartz 200 mm for Xmas in 1985 Fully made in Japan Still runs like a top for going on 37 years old Comment from : SuperRtrtrtr |
SKX009 was definitely my gateway! Comment from : watiieagle |
What about Eterna watches? Comment from : Alan Caley |
I think we need part 2 of this video So many brands out there that have great watches Comment from : Bryan |
I have a Seiko 5 gold SNXL72, but I will own a Seamaster Chrono and a Speedmaster one day, Omega Speedmaster especially because I live 15 miles away from NASA in Florida, my grandfather was part of NASA(Delta II) from 1960 to 1982, I see rocket launches every week from my front yard, and the Speedmaster is THE Moonwatch, and the one I MUST OWN, the Seamaster Chrono is my favorite watch ever, but the Speedmaster is a MUST OWN, and unlike Rolex, I can walk in to an Omega store and actually buy the watch I want, Rolex is Overrated Comment from : Florida Man Kyle |
Missing some Tudor here like the BlackBay58! Comment from : Chry S |
