One point that you missed is that Scrooge didn't immediately go and get rich in the Klondike gold rush He wandered the word for nearly 20 years before he finally struck rich in Klondike I think that's an important part about his journey, since it establishes how Scrooge didn't just get lucky, but made his fortune through hard work and never giving up

The picture you showed is of John D Rockerduck, who is the SON of Howard Rockerduck, the original owner of the dime!brPlus, Scrooge does not say the dime's luck MIGHT be superstition He actively denies it being a lucky charm at all, and has mentioned several times in the original Barks comics that he made his fortune by working hard and being smart and that it had nothing to do with luck!

You may have missed out that at some point, Scrooge did not gain all his fortune with honesty In one of the comics, he hires a group of thugs to destroy a local village in Africa, possibly to get revenge on a witch doctor During the that last issue before he became the billionaire, he became over protective of his fortune, bad tempered, foul mouthed and cynical towards people including his own family There has been a few dark moments in the comics which show how Scrooge made his fortune and survived in a world of greedy corrupt people trying to steal his money

as a (former) duck artist myself i know i can speak for the rest of us when i say that ductales isn't cannon most of the people who drawn the disney ducks in the 80s 90s until today concider the worlds created in cartoons totally seperate from the paper ducks like they are in alterned universes so to say ehso to say that its all one word is a difficulty it wouln't serve the narrative neighter would the 1930s, 40s, 50s caroon film shorts why you ask well because they are more about donalds supidity than donalds diversity that's why the comic book artist don't go near the film shorts ducks they quite simply add nothing to a narative of a possible future story
