Don't forget, that all proverbs were meant for God's people only and not for those outside of covenant Thus, when it talks about helping poor , it always means poor among God's people, Same ap Paul were collecting money for " poor among the saints in Jerusalem" (Romans 15:26) and not for any poor among unbelievers It doesn't mean we should not help those who don't know Christ yet, but del1st help has to be purposed to bring them to Christ, and 2nd/del priority is always are God's people" If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household , he has renounced the faith and is worse than an unbeliever " (1 Timothy 5:8)

My financial debt is 95 medical and 5 other stuff I paid off a $400 bill only to turn around and had another $2000 in medical added to my debt I to go to a dentist but I am not going until I get $30,000 in medical bills paid down I can’t buy food without going into the whole I couldn’t pay my rent because I had to get propane for the winter I keep asking God for help only to get more debt I keep saying God’s helping me even though my debt is climbing I live biblically and my debt continues to climb I have a roof over my head but no food on the table When will God finally help me???

Mr Parr, I believe that Christians should focus on new testament and not the old, so I agree with everything but proverbs that is about accumulation for children and investment In my opinion when we accumulate we will have less immediate money to help others Jesus, the master, taught us about not worrying about money and accumulating wealth in heaven
