It is criminal what the cost of living is in San Francisco It's sad really I went to San Francisco when I was 11, and it was beautiful But from reviews and photographs, it sounds destroyed I'm not here to argue about who people voted for, but the fact that their elected officials aren't doing anything about the hypodermic needles, trash, and feces on the street is just angering The tech companies are angering, too, because of them driving up the cost of living I've said this before and had someone tell me, "Just work hard and get a good job" Well, I want to be an elementary teacher and regardless of where I live, every city needs them In San Francisco, a teacher's salary is below the poverty line, which is pathetic!

Let me tell you all, San Jose is incredibly overpriced, it has very few of the benefits of a major city like Miami or Boston, but is priced like it is heaven on earth, the only advantages it has is great weather and great jobs, but besides that it is not worth it at all, unless you're rich, as it sucks to be middle class here

You don't need $90k to live in NYC I mean, I make way more than that and have a nice apt in a great neighborhood, but half the people in my company (my office is, maybe, 300 people) make less than $90k and they live here too Depends where you live There are places in the Bronx or Brooklyn that are cheap(ish) to live (for good reason, you're 98 likely to die), but you don't need $90k to live there NYC is more than just Manhattan, you know We have 5 boroughs

NYC is expensive but not as you mentioned you can find some ok apartments there and it's under 1400 a month I was born and raised there and I can tell you he's speaking from an upper class perspective There's tons to do in NYC and diversity is king there It's rich with culture and jobs pay well there I've been a paratransit driver there in 2008 and was making 20 dollars hourly at full time 🤷🏾‍♂️ but I've never been to California so if I seen this video I would assume it's expensive asf from your content

I grew up in in Detroit, spent my University years in Chicago, and just spent 5 years aka my professional formative years in Los Angeles I just moved to my childhood dream city of Boston My brother lives in San Diego We both agree LA is more expensive than SD, I even considered moving down there And I feel Boston and SD are expensive indeed, but LA is much worsebrAnd SF, San Jose, and Oakland especially San Francisco, that freaking bay area is just ungodly expensive!!!!
