"will require a global shift to wear more plant-based diets" THIS is how you know this video was made by people who are oblivious brInstead they should have said "Restore the grasslands, restore the ruminants, restore the environment", instead they want to cut down the ecosystems to put wheat fields Comment from : Next World Action |

“Global cooperation” isn’t exactly what you needbrbrEach growing zone is unique Cooperating with those near your growing zone or those whose growing zone is only marginally different will be the best strategy The tips that work in India may not be relevant to IdahobrbrI’ve tried to learn from other growers “globally” And they don’t understand my growing conditions, so it has turned out that are very few places that are worth my time to consult with Comment from : Ariel Bruton |

A very informative and interesting video, I'm kind of new to the agricultural business, my company provides solutions to farmers, we also sell agrochemicals Can anyone with decent amount of experience in this wonderful field recommend me a comprehensive book/online courses about agriculture and the latest technologies that are being applied to improve global agriculture, also something that covers biochemistry which is directly related to crops and the proper appliance of agrochemicals Thank you Comment from : Bobur Yusufov |

В переводе с латыни Tempus темп - быстрое, тёплое, безопасный (жизненно важный), развивающийся и менее опасный, чем огонь in Latin, Tempus temp is fast, warm, safe (vital), developing and less dangerous than fire Революция в значении латыни - это быстрое движение при условии, что окружающая среда (огонь, очаг, в культурах Весты, Заратустры) не сожжена И основы остальной универсальности не пострадают Revolution in the meaning of Latin is a rapid movement, provided that the environment (fire, hearth, under the cultures of Vesta, Zarathustra) is not burned And the foundations of the rest of the universality will not suffer Древнейшая алхимия лежит в основе живой флоры и фауны и сил, которые - земля питает жизнь (vita tera), вода, дыхание (doh(x)i, облака), тепло (солнце, теплота) The most ancient alchemy underlies the living flora and fauna and the forces that - the earth nourishes life (vita tera), water, breath (doh(x)i, clouds), heat (sun, warm) Comment from : Тёма Тера |

Seriously People asks for eco-friendly farming and all but are not willing to pay a single extra buck for it There is a lack of awareness/education about this Comment from : Roaring River |
It has to be pointed out that by improving the nutrition of people is a direct factor for overpopulation Since we are all living longer and dying less, this could mean that even more food will be needed, on an exponential basis This also has shown problems of having more elderly population that cannot work or even take care of themselves, and needing the younger people to have to take care of them and this is not necessarily something that enough people is willing to do Comment from : Roaring River |

I'm a farmer, and this is a a good video, AND: the reason we are in this mess in the first place is because of a multi-century long disconnect with our lands and local ecosystems do to industrialism, globalization and colonialism Technology is important in this conversation, but making sure we are back in tune with our local environment is just as vital Robots cannot and should not do all our work for us here Comment from : Helen Goodyear |

Conventional, industrialized farming shoves nature out of the way This form of farming seeks to work with it instead of pushing it aside Comment from : D Matthew W |
I dont like the question:br"How can we feed growing number of population healthy diet" brWe shouldnt aspire to this goal We should aspire to lower our population We need to restore Earth and its soil Which means we can no longer exploit it so much to meet our demands If we dont, we would face doom, as every fallen civilization before us brBTW, I am not talking about any kind of eugenics, if someone got the wrong impression I am talking about lowering birth rate dramatically Comment from : Moje ekożycie |
I think if people started having more small scale farms to supply themselves, we could solve many of these problems, as they stem from needing to have large machines to feed so many people Comment from : Tiogar |
There is no climate crisis except in the 'minds' of the politicians and the owners of the money printing press which has been effectively injected into the spaces in the heads of the 'general' public Man, Gore also had me going but once you're through the bluster reason appears There is no evidence of a crisis looming other than the naturally occurring changes which we need to manage Agriculture that produces more than a fall back amount is what is destroying the earth Comment from : doug schorr |
Hi tech is not the answer Rotational grazing and composting is the only answer The only way to sequester needed amounts of carbon is through grass grazed appropriately Comment from : Mick Sullivan |

I am a controls and robotics engineer And I grew up on a farm and I live in a rural agricultural area Although this may scream sustainability doesn't scream the ability to actually control your produce It lacks quality control Along with that it doesn't deal with the fact that if you're allowing environment to stay natural, you have the inability to grow certain crops This means they have to be trucked in The way better off with some crops going to some sort of greenhouse type of system A completely enclosed environment A food factory Can using vertical growing methods or stacking methods I'm putting these factories as close to possible to distribution centers Comment from : Trent Bergen |

I wish we had more local farms using sustainable agriculture, like permaculture With commercial agriculture and fishing, so much food is wasted, land destroyed, resources depleted, taste and nutrition diminished, all for greed Comment from : Mem Tesin |

This is not sustainable You might as well just grow them in lab where you can create all the suitable conditions and grow plants 24/7 without the unpredictable weather patterns Human beings have a unique ability to modify and manipulate their surroundings to suit their needs and desires so the second agricultural revolution won't rely on the unpredictabilities of planet earth Comment from : Ret Rono |
