Enjoy your content and transparency, especially your motives and why I used your "new" link to make an initial purchase from SD Bullion So far; so good
Comment from : Tim Bowen

Calvin Cooper
I started stacking in 2014 filled a monster box with ASE and 1oz Silver Rounds purchased 1/10 oz gold coins and rounds, paid $150-$170 for gold at the time I feel very comfortable with my purchases, have a full tube of 1/10oz gold
Comment from : Calvin Cooper

Comment from : Just someone

John Dunn
Honestly, if i could afford it, i would definitely buy a 1oz coin a month because they look real nice, but my budget looks closer to a 1/10oz or two a month Probably could try and save the requisite 2k to just buy one outright, but i don't really like having an exhaustive amount of my in my checking and anything that goes into the savings doesn't get touched Currently stacking silver though, there's a specific amount i want to get to with that before i switch over to gold
Comment from : John Dunn

Shaf Serious
Mate the premium are pennies man!!!! Dw about premiums! Jeeez
Comment from : Shaf Serious

Darren Soldan
I think the biggest thing is to just set a simple goal at the start and don't worry about those premiums for now
Comment from : Darren Soldan

Crayon Man
1 oz is all I will buy in gold simply because the standard shop sells 1/4's and 1/2's at far too high premium 1 oz is the best deal even if you can only buy 1 oz a year or something I try to buy an oz quarterly or if I have anything extra that I'm not putting into silver
Comment from : Crayon Man

fazdoll
If a 1/4 oz is all you can afford, do it Better to buy factional gold than to buy NO gold
Comment from : fazdoll

Pascal
I’ve stopped buying fractionals It’s to expensive Just save for the full ounce
Comment from : Pascal

victoria jonas
You are right i took a book from the library after reading I realized that the secret to making a million is making better investment I always tell myself you don't need that new car or that vacation just yet and that mindset helps me make more money investing
Comment from : victoria jonas

Mark Davies
Does size matter? No, my partner says not
Comment from : Mark Davies

Tony G
You can blow $225 on a dinner with your family or buy a 1/10 gold coin instead Most people are going to spend it is my point
Comment from : Tony G

Ontario100
Excellent Advice!
Comment from : Ontario100

Be honest What is the most you have paid for 1 ounce of gold
Comment from : Mattityahu

D M
Just have to add something, being I just purchased 1/2 oz gold eagle this morning Had to as the price offered was 97900 for a PCGS MS70 Would you crack this one out of the slab and put it in a capsule or just keep the slab whole I'm not a fan of numismatic/graded unless I'm buying a pre-33 double eagle or similar Torn on leaving it alone or putting in a capsule
Comment from : D M

Imelda Chávez

Comment from : Imelda Chávez

mel man
We hear talk about The Gov Confiscating our gold If that happened what would be your plan?? how much gold would u have to have before u think about moving to Canada???
Comment from : mel man

Honor Code
Video topic: why isn’t gold at $5,000 an ounce yet? Every big name analyst said it would happen by now
Comment from : Honor Code

D M
Sometimes buying a fractional comes down to, it's worth 40 bucks or whatever to HAVE the coin If it's worth more way down the road? Bonus 1/4 oz coins are fun and if you need the cash, you can most likely get it back or close without giving up a 1oz I don't know that is only my way of seeing it
Comment from : D M

Zank Frappa
Man, what is that knife in the background? Been noticing it in your vids but can't figure it out
Comment from : Zank Frappa

DL _STACKER
This might be a stupid question, but does a buffalo fit in a 1 ounce eagle capsule
Comment from : DL _STACKER

R D
I have to admit for me personally i get MORE motivated when the price goes down to buy more For me knowing the inevitable feature of fiat known as inflation means that i want to get more while i can because i know the inexorable march in one direction of the US Dollar That doesn't mean it can't be stuck low for a long period of time but it does mean that eventually the inertia of reality will move it up regardless of the day to day, week to week and month to month, even the year to year It's just an eventual reality of how inflation and fiat works
Comment from : R D

Deseret Stacker
I don’t have as much gold as I want, but my stack will continue to grow, great vid!
Comment from : Deseret Stacker

George Washington
I was doing 1/4 AGE a month up until January of this year I switched to 1/2 AGE every other month About $45 saved on a half oz
Comment from : George Washington

aaron schen
sorta wierd/unfortunate that silver bars are trusted more than gold bars in the US Also unfortunate we yanks are turned off or confused by non freedom units of measure Otherwise metric gold bars are the perfect answer to this conundrum 10g bars have low premiums, barely more expensive than 25 AGE gold is supposed to be a commodity but we treat it like a collectable
Comment from : aaron schen

silver sliver
My coin dealer wanted to offer spot for 1/10 oz gold eagles I was not happy because they're around $275 online Is he lowballing me Now I am going to avoid him likecthe plague
Comment from : silver sliver

Munqith Alhajjaj
Well CA just increase the tax limit to 2000 so I guess 1 oz it is 😂
Comment from : Munqith Alhajjaj

Nyarlathotep Agonistes
Aside from a few numismatic pieces, I'm only really interested in 1 Oz Gold and above Same for silver
Comment from : Nyarlathotep Agonistes

Therese 1001
What do you think of the St George sovereigns?
Comment from : Therese 1001

Therese 1001
My budget can take the 1/10 gold coins and 10 oz silver bars This is my new goal for the rest of 23 Love those stackers Only have a few round ones now in various sizes but moving to the 10 oz tomorrow!!! Also stack the ASE when I find them on sale! 😊
Comment from : Therese 1001

Mel In Texas
Do the best you can afford and don’t apologize to anyone Keep stacking no matter what the denomination is and feel good about it
Comment from : Mel In Texas

vip_supercars
I'm tired of looking at eagles and Buffalo's

Looks like my first buy target of 1917 is fast approaching, next stop, 1840 ish if it clears
Comment from : A S

Halakel Ben Sinai
I don't have the patience to save for 1 coin It's discouraging like trying to get in busy traffic and just can't find the opening to get in So I decided to love silver and fractional gold I figure shtf it will be acceptable regardless Plus, when I pass it to the younglings, the value would have increased to use it however they see fit
Comment from : Halakel Ben Sinai

Michael Ramsey
If you want your premiums back, get a table at a coin show, sell them like a coin dealer does
Comment from : Michael Ramsey

Blast/Off/Bat
I say, 2 is 1 Dude, for fractional Gold , nothing less a quarter ounce, and you will probably do alright Tee hee hee!!
Comment from : Blast/Off/Bat

Donnie Herzog
When i 1st started stacking a guy recommended 1/10 just for the easier resell A lot more people have $260 than 2 grand
Comment from : Donnie Herzog

I will be making my first 1oz gold buffalo or maple leaf coin purchase this year to start my road to $100,000 stack 🎉🎉
Comment from : Lock_

B²
Its all about learning patience After a year of picking up gold I decided I can pace myself for some high-end numismatics Not dictated by spot price and also don't take up as much room as silver
Comment from : B²

Kirk Weidler
Buy what you like, but think it through first I like 1 tenth ounce Canadian gold maples Low premium, four 9s fine, 24k But when 10oz silver bars are cheap, I gotta grab one if my LCS has them Poured bars preferably
Comment from : Kirk Weidler

steve lauda
I will stick with 1oz gold instead of fractional, the premiums are too high for fractional unless i buy numismatic gold coins
Comment from : steve lauda

Sur-Real
I think all sovereign gold except for us eagles is 24K This could be a factor if selling outside the US or to a Foreigner Although another great video
Comment from : Sur-Real

John n Loni Baker
Silver will never be worth enough BUY platinum
Comment from : John n Loni Baker

John n Loni Baker
I noticed I get 240 for 1/10 AGE, BUT I JUST BUY THE 1/4 AGE WHO CARES ABOUT THE BUMP THE PREMIUMS IS LOWER FOR PROOF I GOT A COFFEE CAN OF PROOFS WITH SAME PRICE OR LOWER THAN BU N I BUY IT FOR ME SO FU 😉 JK LOL
Comment from : John n Loni Baker

Tom
I have been thinking of doing the fractional gold strategy with 1/2 oz Kangaroo's, Philharmonics and Britannia's They seem to be much more reasonable on premiums Right now, I buy only ounces but not really on a consistent schedule Being more consistent, I think, would result in a larger haul over time
Comment from : Tom

Wyatt William
I really appreciate the dedication in each video you post Despite the dip in crypto, I still thank you for the level-headed financial advice I started crypto and forex investment with $4,345 and since following you for few weeks now, I’ve gotten $18,539 in my portfolio Thanks so much Mrs Marie cull
Comment from : Wyatt William

Tom Stone
Yes , size does matter , it is directly proportionate to the amount of spendable cash I have in my pocket at any given time , I walk into a shop , the lady puts out a 1/10 , 1/4 and an oz , I dig in my pocket and buy which ever one I have the money for , I don't consider premium ,
Comment from : Tom Stone

Slapdat HughJass
Fractional gold is precisely why 1-oz, 5-oz and 10-oz silver exist! 😎
Comment from : Slapdat HughJass

NC Farmer
Thank you for the video

bahija rhafiri
After selling a couple homes in 2022, I'm anticipating a housing crisis in order to buy inexpensively As a backup plan, I've been thinking about purchasing stocks What recommendations do you have for the best time to buy? On the one hand, I keep reading and seeing trader earnings of over $500k each week On the other side, I keep hearing that the market is out of control and experiencing a dead cat bounce Why does this happen?
Comment from : bahija rhafiri

Scott Hill
I've always preferred fractional Gold Mainly the 1/4 ounce I use my bullion as a savings account If I need some cash I don't have to exchange a full ounce for fiatGreat video as always Thanks
Comment from : Scott Hill

Arturro 7374
I had bought fractional gold but now only 1oz gold and 10 oz silver bars
Comment from : Arturro 7374

Bradley O
I started stacking last year I don’t personally like the American Eagle other than the design The reason is because it is not pure gold I would like to get a Buffalo coin, but bars and maples are just more economical
Comment from : Bradley O

iReview
Awesome video 👍

Eric S
I know there’s a value in having silver and gold, BUT how can you justify the price with premium for silver coinage It’s nuts The people who make out best are the dealers
Comment from : Eric S

Jackie Newson
The 1/10th of gold is all I can afford on a 35,000 income
Comment from : Jackie Newson

Sandra Crandall
If U R committed"size doesn't matter" a mature outlook & an end goal is what's HUGE🥰
Comment from : Sandra Crandall

Frank W
I'm in the camp of basic arithmetic and common sense At current prices, the extra premium you're paying for 10 tenths would darn near buy you two 10oz bars of silver on top of that ounce of gold But, hey, you do you boo-boo my LCS dealer loves you, and you're keeping him in business for me
Comment from : Frank W

OldDaddyBear
I am focusing on 1oz gold going forward, but when I have been able to pick up 1/10th oz AGE’s at lower premiums than 1/4 oz’s, I have happily bought them But that source had been mostly tapped out I also keep an eye out for deals on fractional bars with low premiums and pick up when I find a good deal, but they are pretty few and far between So agree with the 1 oz target, but happy when good deals on smaller sizes come up Also I have been surprised to find certified/slabbed 1 oz AGE’s and Buffalos at almost the same price as raw coins I buy these as well as they may provide broader audiences of potential buyers in the future for minimal additional upfront cost Keep up the great videos
Comment from : OldDaddyBear

Swamp Fox - EDC & Outdoors
Thanks for the great content Could you please give your take on Sovereign’s? Like British gold Sovereigns I think a lot of viewers are interested in the fractional The full ounces are great as well, but I personally enjoy this content even more Thanks again!
Comment from : Swamp Fox - EDC & Outdoors

NorthernPrep
living in the Uk I started buying Sovereigns firstHaven't regretted it, although only buying 1oz now
Comment from : NorthernPrep

Shawn D
Also worth mentioning when your fiat money is rapidly being devalued and metals are at an artificially low and affordable price, premiums are largely irrelevantbrbrAlso with just a hair of patience silver can regularly be had these days at $2 over spot or a 7-8 premium
Comment from : Shawn D

ScrappingHoarding TinkeringFun
When i started If i waited to "save" enough for an ounce i would not have done it But, of course like all finances we should watch every one and make calculated purchases to maximize the profitability Or just collect it and be happy
Comment from : ScrappingHoarding TinkeringFun

DDs
1oz is the best purchase
Comment from : DDs

Premonition
Since you asked, I always buy 1oz gold coins Half are pre-33 graded/slabbed, half are mostly buffaloes and a smattering of other countries' usual suspects just to say I have them The premium is why I have only ever bought 1oz gold
Comment from : Premonition

G Boyce
Love the channel Just have one question What is the actual value of gold? Not the fake spot derivative price I'm talking vs the amount of fiat printed vs production vs inflation vs rarity using factual data?
Comment from : G Boyce

Barbara Carbone
Hi 2is1 Purchasing gold 1/4's or 1/10's are not uncommon at all amongst the community There's a myriad of reasons why it's a good idea I have purchased several 1/10's Mostly 1 oz, though But those 1/10's are so stinking cute Thanks for the vid 😎✌
Comment from : Barbara Carbone

wayne wentworth
1oz Britannia whenever possible, but also want to start building up on Gold Sovereigns and Krugerrands for a little diversity as well as decent premiums 😁
Comment from : wayne wentworth

Romain Hugon
only buy 12 kg gold bars to save on those premiums, once a month to get your dollar cost averaging, prety simple really
Comment from : Romain Hugon

The Rat Stack
Choices, Choices I've only made one gold purchase in 2023 The resent dips have my trigger finger itching now Similarly to you I've been looking at silver a lot lately, but have been purchasing high premium collectible pieces, with the intention of flipping them som day Who knows if that's ever going to work though It's fun if anything
Comment from : The Rat Stack

Don't know anybody going broke buying precious metals and kind meaning physical holdings not paper moderation long as there's a lot of it time has a way of teaching us all how to save in the excitement of ups and downs knowing ups and downs is the real patience

S C
The 14 oz us commemoratives are a good way to buy fractional gold in my opinion They generally have a low premium relative to other fractionals and are in proof like condition Just got in the teddy Roosevelt NPS coin today
Comment from : S C

🐲 My Kitten Is A Grand Master 🐉
I ended up selling a gold bar today at my local coin shop they gave me 1,900 plus I got a really nice Morgan silver dollar for free the bar I paid 1,760 for the downside is that it was one of the 007 No Time To Die gold bars which is a hard sale unless you can find that person who is willing to pay big bucks for luckily I was able to pick it up at a coin shop when gold was pretty low
Comment from : 🐲 My Kitten Is A Grand Master 🐉

Jackalope
Why would you trade 4 x1/4 coins for 1x1 oz coin even up? You already paid the premium At worst those 1/4’s were the same value as the 1oz but you lost any opportunity to regain fractional premium or flexibility to trade in smaller amounts?
Comment from : Jackalope

Michael McCoy
I really try to pick up something monthly When I can afford it, 1 oz is a great goal But the next month, it might be a fractional brbrAnd try to remember, in the words of Bill and Ted, “Be excellent to each other”
Comment from : Michael McCoy

I will not comply
I diversify 1oz 10th oz everything in between Coins mostly Different kinds Silver too, bars and coins I definitely do favor eagles/buffalos and maples Recetly I picked up some pandas but mostly cause I was looking for some 10th oz and thats all my guy had at the time Im traveling for work a lot and a lot of the time im kind of just trying to keep what I have balanced and diverse as much as I can with what the shops inventory is
Comment from : I will not comply

Corey Smith
No less than 1/10th oz gold, no less than 1 oz silver I did pay 224 for 5 oz of 1/10th oz silver helenas I wanted them tho 😂 still 7-10 a 10th, i can still make my money back if needed I was buying so much, i did have to slow down after my dog got sick She is better now and im looking for a truck 😅
Comment from : Corey Smith

D B
Only thing with a full OZ is most cant afford the $2K price tag Both when selling and buying A few hundred dollars is much more manageable and will make the sale and purchase easier
Comment from : D B

greycats99
I bought a couple of quarter Oz once just to "try it out", but I didn't like it Once you're used to the weight and size of a full 1Oz you don't like to go smaller At least not for me Furthermore here in Europe when I asked the shops what would be the amount they pay if / when I need to sell, they told me "spot" No matter which coin, no matter which size, they pay just spot price So there's no point really as the premium on smaller coins is way higher If I can't afford a full Oz I just don't buy anything
