A few years ago, I will pulling a blanket out; the room was completely dark For a few seconds, I not only heard a bit of static electricity but I could also see some tiny, glow in the dark blue lines on my arm from the static I got from the fleece blanket It was one of the coolest things I’d ever seen

Just one problem The info is wrong! Walking across a carpet does not slough off electrons from yourself; it sloughs off electrons from the carpet Thus YOU become negatively charged with excess electrons relative to other objects When you touch the metal doorknob, the excess electrons from your body jump across to the doorknob which creates a shock Funny that 22K people liked the video which is incorrect Sorry to be the one to pop your bubble
