To be honest, I'm not sure investing is a wise decision right now Notice how often things fail As I still have some time before retirement, I'm looking for a good investment strategy for my money, even though I've read books and articles by well-known investors, past and present In order to generate passive income, I want to start building a solid and reliable portfolio I recently set aside $80,000 to invest in the market

A Financial Planner told me Saving at least 15 of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably How can take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings to about $3M over time?

The heart of a teacher? Does that mean a fiduciary advisor? Dave needs to tell people if a fee based advisor is better than a commission based advisor

Buy ETFs and Index Vandgaurd offers the best Mutual funds are tax burdens Don’t throw money at a advisor, they can’t match or exceed the S&P and if they do the fees will kill ya

Opinions please form the sternest financial critics on youtube: UK based but I like Daves advice I have savings of £130k, I'm 39, no kids no debt no property, and saving for a very modest pension Due to family history and genetics I'm unlikely to live beyond my early 60s, retirement age in the UK is 75 for men of my age, so I'm unlikely to make it I'm toying with the idea of taking a mid life semi-retirement, I work a regular job and I have online businesses I enjoy, the online stuff almost meets the very modest living costs of my minimalist lifestyle, I'd like to move into an RV and travel around Europe for up to 10 years, after that if I'm still around I plan to rent in my hometown & continue my online businesses, also perhaps supplement them with some low stress casual employment until I meet my genetic fate Everyone says grind out, save for retirement, but my father, all his brothers and his father have all died from pancreatic cancer late 50s to early 60s, doctors advise my outlook has a fair chance of being the same Would you break societal norms and plan to take a mid life retirement?

The age will have some bearing on risk tolerance, but $10K is not a huge nest egg I didn't hear how old she was, but it sounded like maybe she's getting a bit of a late start, so she may have to be a little more aggressive Beware of Financial Advisors who work for banks They just want to sell you their garbage that benefits them
