Now they just struggle to attract customers and give low interest rates for the first two years! And what will happen after that? It looks like inflation is here to stay We also heading high unemployment, if you are renting you will easily leave the property, but with a mortgage it is not that simple!

James , you should explain to people that these products are based on approximately 2 yr deals - with the product fee ADDED the monthly payment rises from around £500 to around £76000 , that’s over 50 more on top of the monthly payment brBorrowing £100K on a £150k property just doesn’t stack up brwith property prices tanking over the next couple of years the deposit (50k) will be eroded and even more so with inflationbrThat’s based on remortgage, if you’re going to buy in this market , either buy cash or wait it out

Don't forget, it's not only the housing market that's affected by the interest rate rises Unfortunately, we have an impossible to service mountain of national debt and it's this that's going to cause a major collapse into recession next year and everything will likely come tumbling down soon after

I think after this months inflation (fossil fuels 😏)data james there will be a jump in swap rates and lenders will over react as will the BOE a bit like what happened in June but come 06/24 the lenders will become competitive again
