i would absolutely love to work herebrbrbri remember as a kid watching “the silent child,” a film that won an oscar showing a deaf little girl not being treated right by her family i was only 10/11, and i was absolutely mesmerised something about the fact i was often a silent child myself, except knowing i was so lucky to have the ability to communicate the deaf community really always has been beautiful to mebrbrnow i’m 15, in my last year of school, and i recently watched love island, where the first ever deaf contestant featured on the show, Tasha ghouri again, i was intrigued by her deafness, which she calls her “superpower” and after watching her and her boyfriend andrew come out of the villa she has continued to bring representation of the deaf community to her social media pages me being me, i really looked into it and was just amazed by her journey i rewatched the silent child, almost in tears and decided i would love to work with deaf children one day, it just has a special place in my heartbrbrand seeing this school, and the beautiful way it works, has made me realise this job would be perfect for me one day

schools have been good and bad my child who wanted to ride the normal bus with his friend was denied because they want to segregate he has hearing implanta but it ia not fair for students because they build a bond and a relationship and i believe its unfair for them also some schools are full of drunky noisy women who bring a hostile enviroment for parents

For Deaf viewers, there’s sort of soft, upbeat but somber solo piano playing in the background I’m a bit annoyed by this, because I feel like the tone of the video says, “oh, these poor kids,” when really, most Deaf people I know love being part of the community and having ASL, especially at schools for the Deaf like this one where there’s a real love and awareness of Deaf culture Sure, deafness is a disability, but I wish the media would more often portray the Deaf community as the ethnic group Deaf people prefer to associate with, not as sad, disadvantaged, unfortunate, or any of that

i am half deaf and i know a bit of sign language ,bri still know how beatifull some sounds can be but there are a lot of things i will never hear ,br( low noises like whispers and people with low voices , hihg noises like birds , i experience music a lott different cause i cant hear some things)bri was born with it , so i dont really know what it all sounds like but my friends told me so think i kinda understand

I found very interesting the comment that the man does on the fact that his voice identifies him as a deaf person Obviously the police officer did not understand and did not trust him When I realy want to meet people I try to speak their language but there are over 7OOO languages around the world and it is obvious that the sign language in the USA is not the same as the one we use in my country I wish we would all sign or speak the same language That would help us to be united

as someone with moderate hearing loss i was moved to how animated the children were when expressing themselves through sign language they are natural mimics! i was however disappointed that the hate group black lives matter were featured in this short video all lives matter!
