so crazy to me that in such a short time none of the leupold rimfires are less than $300 i'm shopping right now and every review i find of the different scopes is like "what a great buy at $175-$180" meanwhile the competitor rimfire scopes are still around $150 like burris, vortex would love to see a follow up "inflation review" lol now that leupold costs almost twice as much are they still worth it over a 150 dollar burris or vortex or whatever? thanks for your video sir Comment from : J F |
Cannot find Riton 2-7×32 anywhere anymore I have one I vouch for it Should have bought several Comment from : Name |

Just my two cents after 60 years of shooting, I don't like nor recommend a 2x? or 3x? scope for a 22, you are way better off if you go with a 1x4 or 1x6 Way better to hunt with as it is much easier to acquire a moving target such as a squirrel or rabbit Try this idea, I think you will like itbrBTW, I found girls like those in my barn a few times Strange, they all wanted to be mountedso I shot em and have them hangin around Comment from : Richard Stone |
I'll vouch for the Bushnell Engage They're fantastic scopes The tooless turrets on my 3-12x42 are a major bonus as well Comment from : ssrc30 |
I wish Ik about this dude a long time ago 😂😂 Comment from : Stephen Sloan |
Shout out for Leupold VX Freedom The rimfire scopes have no parallax reticle movement at rimfire ranges (Most important thing), and the occular lens diameter isn't the size of a coke bottle (it's probably the smallest diameter available) so you can mount it real low so it won't foul opening bolt handles and for great cheekweld brGreat for Australia where we can only get bolt actions - no semi autos for average folk here Comment from : GW |
Your opinion seems great but personally I would trust it more if you had bad things to say about this and that more often (OK I have only watched like 5 of your vids maybe so we will see) So far it is high praise for just about everything doesn't help me make a decision Comment from : weeral1 |

Hello, is the Bushnell Rimfire 3-9x40 Dz22 Reticle Black RR3940BS4 a good rimfire scope? Comment from : Bill Nugent |
I have a vortex crossifre ii 2-7x32 rimfire The fact that you recommend this scope means you lose credibility with me It has horrible tunnel vision, a field of view about half of any other scope, and ocular bell is larger than the objective bell (uses the same cap as a 40mm objective!) making low scoping mounting difficult on bolt action rifles This is a really trash scope! Comment from : Ian Currie |
Mr Cyclops Sir, really enjoyed your colorful commentary This video was a pleasure to watch Thanks for not making generic "milk toast" BS content Comment from : Luas Martinez |

So these rimfire scopes can be used on AR15 platforms? what about the parallax setting Usually rimfire set at 50 Comment from : ctdvargas |
Great Video Joe, always enjoy watching them Recently brought a Redfield Revolution 4-12x40 ( bit overkill) for my 22LR I cannot fault the scope, except for one thing The turrents do not click brThey move just like you are turning the scopes power magnification ring So I practically cannot count clicks Where they deliberately made that way? Or is mine faulty?brMuch appreciated Comment from : Frank Cuschieri |

Would you recommend the VX-Freedom Rimfire in 2-7 or 3-9? I'm leaning towards the 2-7 for 22LR but would love to hear opinions Got a Ruger 10/22 for plinking and squirrel hunting with the girls - this will be the rifle they learn to shoot first Comment from : lexwaldez |

hi, kool video but could you please tell me what A O means the hawke scopes have this designation Comment from : Joseph Nubile |
Well sumbitch A one-eyed guy teaching about rifle optics! I've got my left eye patched also due to severe damage from a medical issue I had to give up my USPSA/IDPA type shooting because I could no longer "run and gun" safely due to loss of close up depth perception Too many trip hazards with a pistol in hand I've started looking into learning rifle shootingbench, 3-positon, etc Nice that there is a shooter out there that has the same perspective Kind of encouraging Comment from : rktman3 |
This guy needs to expand is vocabulary (different words) Shit I know it's a bitchKeep kicking ass though and all that shit WTF! Comment from : Edward Preston |

Great video, How do you feel a Hawke 3-9x40 AO Vantage #14123 with BKL s/rings on a Ruger Tactical 10/22FS rifle would be for targets at 50-100 yards? I have been shooting Air rifles and finally decided to get a rimfire 22lr Thank you for the great uploads, always very helpful Comment from : Ricky Hogan |
Good video,Nice touch at the end therethumbs up and subscribe Comment from : ssmmkk82 |
Awesome video What do you recommend for 17 hmr Med to long range scope ? Comment from : Gene Mace |
for those scopes calibrated for 22 LR how far off at 150 yds will 22 mag be off ?br I am needing something for a 10/22 Magnum I just got and has never been shot, till I got it Hopeing to use it for coyotes crossing my small fieldsbr Old disabled Nam combat veteran Afraid Agent Orange is about to over take me finally Comment from : victor castle |
For me on scope, on rimfire is the Simmons 22 mag With this scope I can hit anything with my Marlin XT17-R It's the best combo and combat on squirrels and birds At the range it's dead on from side by side bullet or the same hole at 50 yards I don't care how great this scope you're saying is the best for rimfire but what I currently using is what will out shoots more than most expensive rimfire rifle with expensive scope Most times you don't even need to go all out just to get that moa you're looking for when most times 2x/3x cheaper will rifle will out class all those expensive brand Don't believe me look how most starter rifle for beginners today are out beating a single high end rifle by 4x Anyhow most times high end are safe queens anyways I tend to used mine during hunting and i do a lot of hiking so high end is out of the question California is not like your state and others where you sit your butt on top of the tree stand all day so walking and hiking is a true hunter where most will never do because of the fearness of encountering things you never want to see Comment from : MengeR |
Learn to love that ass even if she buck tooth Funny stuff Comment from : Tim Sterrett |
