Ashleigh Stratmann
The story of Harding's mistress and illegimate child was on Mysteries of the Museum It turns out Harding was sending money to his mistress to help pay for his daughter's needs but when he died the child and mother was left out of the will with nothing and the mother was force to reveal their secret affair to try and earn some money to support her's and Harding;s daughter But since the mother and Harding burned every letter they recieve from the other after reading to keep their relationship a secret, she had no way to prove her daughter was Harding's so it back fired on her It wasn't until DNA test was available and Harding's nephew found a copy of the book about Harding's illegitimate child he decided to look up her kin and found she had a son who agreed to have a DNA test/comparison with the nephew that they got their answers

Bob Nicholas
This info is the same superficial story told about Harding His downfall was that there was nothing in it for anyone to defend his legacy after he died He was a self made man and one 2 million dollar corruption isn't anywhere near the unknown scams and bribery of Presidents like LBJ It is moot His platform was exactly what he did, take a break from The stress of WW1 and the Spannish flu

Shelby Farrow
I heard that he was actually appointed to the office of Lt Governor and not elected to it

Shaun Schoolfield
Harding was poisoned by his wife Let's face it Furthermore, Harding did great things for the country He helped the country return to normalcy following the first world war Something his Predecessor, Woodrow Wilson, failed to do Harding gets a bad reputation because of what came forward after his death, but nobody actually talks about or acknowledges what he did while serving as our 29th President To go along with the Washington Naval Disarmament Conference, he also lowered taxes for businesses, higher protective tariff, and reduced the number of immigrants allowed to enter the US from Southern and Eastern Europe Harding may have only spent about two and a half years as President, but he did a great job in that time He should definitely be considered one of the greatest President in American history!

Exclusive Populist
Underrated president that has been wrongly brandished as the worst of all time when he wasn't even the worst of his time (Wilson, Hoover)

Can anyone explain to me why 'google answers' (the automatic answers, appearing under the searchbar) tells me that Warren G Harding was killed by his wife, yet there seems to be no evidence for it?brIf you're bored and curious: Could you test whether you get that answer too I typed "who poisoned an american president" and it gives the question "What president was poisoned by his wife?" Answer: Florence HardingbrWhich is even more weird because she would be the murder not the murderedbrI am very confused What does google know?:D
