Yup, my first mid-range phone after a handful of Lenovo/Vernee/Xiaomi; camera, SD slot and display are awesome, however the SoC for me is a horrible letdown Lagging instagram videos, navigation buttons becoming unresponsive while using camera, no multitasking without lagging, horrible battery life if used more than averagebrThe SnapDragon in the A52s is WAY better performance wise, can't stand a 350€ phone that stutters to a halt while browsing instagram reels or while using the camera That's plain absurd

As a former A53 and now S23 user, one of the first things I am changing in the settings is to manually turn on the bass boost It makes the phone's speakers sound way better from the lowest volume to max half the volume On higher volume the bass kinda turns down a bit to how it sounds without bass boost on, due to physics (because there simply isn't enough space for that much bass in any phone)

I got the A53 and its a heep of junk Started lagging and stuttering just a few months afther purchase GPS died for about a month and than just started working again Camera is garbage And thats about it I remember when I had my Samsung galaxy a3 (2017) and that phone was like a space shuttle compared to this junk Also 2:23 that is a pure lie It feels like a crappy plastic chinese phone

I will just say for everyone, dont buy A series phone if u use it for more than just calling, internet I had a22, a52, a53 and every phone is heating as hell on low end games, lagging after 20 min of any game, and it does pretty good lag and heat when u multitask usual sfuff like spotify + any multimedia app if its not chill weather outside For that price, buy new xiaomi phones or buy galaxy series if u have money

As a person who owns the phone I have only one thing to say With age it the battery heat up more if you live in the South, which greatly drains the battery more And sometimes the bluetooth does not work all too well

7:55 I think samsung was right to include a usb-c to usb-c cable as usb-a is on its way out If they included a usb-a to usb-c cable people wouldn't be able to connect their phone to their laptops which don't have usb-a ports (like dell's xps laptops or macbooks) without a dongle Plus people are likely to buy a new brick with their phone since their old one likely doesn't support 25 watt charging anyway

I use the A53 and i have 70 Games (2 more Graphic intensive ones i have zero issues with and i definetely regularily use all of them) and 4 Social Media apps installedbrI like it honestly Also i take calls in a Ford Fiesta, Skoda Superb and BMC X330E and I have zero issues with that as wellbrInfact the call quality is far superior to my prior A51brAnd my fingerprint sensor works perfectly fine, scanning my finger within a second

5:13 I may be a nerd or something, ar a certain amount of sound level the bass turns off so that it won't drop his volume so much At around 80 would keep the bass on but depends because I use Sound Assistant, so yeah in the max volume there is no bass you're right

As someone who lives outside the US and having had phones sourced from a US carrier the carrier bloatware drives you nuts No matter what carrier we buy from here theres none at all They just lock Sim 1 to their network and it must have a valid sim to run the phone Sim 2 is unlocked So pretty much the whole country is on both networks And for overseas travel Sim 2 works as long as your original sim card is still in slot 1 The A53 is really popular here But we also have a huge budget market, again all dual sim I give my staff the A12, 13, 14 series Great cameras and specs for the price, dual sim, and does everything we need so we dont use mid range so much

Worst phone I ever had, keep getting hot, regular GPS issues, cannot change Bluetooth codec or enable HD Audio, bluetooth, network data reception is not very good When I bought it, I called Samsung support for GPS issues, they are absolutely clueless and useless

For most of my life I bought phones that did not exceed $130 price I didn't even have a true mid ranger until 2016 Overall, these mid range devices can do pretty much everything a flagship can do (with the notable exception of high-end gaming), it might just take a fraction of a second longer If you are not into Mobile gaming or a mobile photography buff, there's really no reason to get a flagship these days

i own a a53 as well, and i love it it feels premium, the camera's amazing, i love One UI and it has exandable storage which is so good couple of problems i have, is that it does lag a bit sometimes, closing apps and such (it never hangs tho), and the camera shutter speed is kinda slow which sucks, but keep in mind, my phone is now a year old and it has 92/128 and 56/64 (SD) storage filled, so that could be it as well i got the 8gb ram version for $390 which I'm happy with brbrAlso my mom has the same phone and hers does not lag at all which could be due to the fact that her storage is barely filled brbrso overall, a solid buy
